Okladoug Posted March 3, 2019 Share Posted March 3, 2019 My 2018 Navigator 2WD has averaged 20.8 after 8000 miles in a combined city and highway driving. I always use conserve mode with auto stop start and auto hold. I buy regular unleaded blended gas after trying super unleaded pure gas and didnt get a higher mpg. I couldn't be more pleased with the mileage. Has anyone else achieved good mpg? Most publications talk about poor gas mileage but I just dont see it. GordonZoo Posted March 3, 2019 Share Posted March 3, 2019 I have 700 miles on our 4x4 2019 Navi Reserve. Were getting 18.8 in combined. Could get better as I do 80 on the interstate and step into it on take off. I keep the auto start off and drive normal conditions. I do use 93 oct. as it's only 30 cents more here. Couldn't be more pleased as it's winter time and hasn't broken in yet. This 3.5 is a nice engine. There is some history with earlier 3.5's that would suggest this is an engine with longevity. Earlier 3.5's did have issues with condensation in the intercooler and timing chain wear driving past oil changes. Just do the regular maintenance and were golden.
