It's not so much what PSA sprinkled on them, more like what GM stopped sprinkling on them...

You really cannot take any numbers after a buyout without a grain of salt. If I was them, I would wait to see similar results at the end of this year before celebrating,

PSA can make a profit because all the legacy costs were wrote down and eliminated from the purchase accounting.

GM fan boys expect their company to still have lots of brands and be all over the globe, just for pride. They screamed when Opel was sold, thinking "just give it more time". Really? 

GM needs to make $$ not just build badge jobs to please fan boiys.
