I guess it was just too expensive for what it was, or dodge just doesn't have the brand cache.   Anyways i'll miss it, the camaro and vette can die though.

FCA had the answer with the S/C Hellcat V8 but weren't game to put it in the Viper, fearing that it was just too powerful for many owners....

Most likely a Hellcat powered, 2-seat Viper replacement is due in 22'-23'.

I think the biggest issue was Viper (for most of its life) was not a car that you could daily drive like the 'Vette.  That automatically relegated it to weekend status at best.

Outside of Jeep-anything FCA is doing is always 2-3-4 years out and changes as many times over the course of time...
