"Will it be better?"...could it be any worse?...Im sorry, but there is no place in the US for the 1.0...its failed in every application here. And even with the 2.0 engine, the Ecosport is burdened by weight...or should I say WAIT....1.5 eco would have been the ticket.

4 hours ago, Twin Turbo said:

Please Ford.....please don't call it Puma. I had one of the originals and it was a brilliant little car (best FWD car I've ever driven). It'll never happen, but I'd love to see a real Puma replacement, built off the latest Fiesta, made as a small coupe again

It had one of the best commercials to go with it. Even spawned a similar one for the Mustang.

I like that. That's more of a high riding hatchback than a CUV. I'd even name that Fiesta X or Active to use some of the brand equity established with the Fiesta..

Both the Ecosport itself and the cruddy name are just all around bad and not appropriate for the American market.

The Cadillac design looks like a drama. GM spends a fortune on Cadillac projects, but keeps the design bad because it's original. It would be better to keep an ugly design and lose money Always (CTS, ATS etc), than run the risk of copying another brand, but make money (Hyundai copies the Audi grille). It seems that some brands are stuck to bad designs because they simply cannot risk another design, since every type of design seems to have been used by other brands. CTS seems to be the "leftover" design and no German used it.
