joesann
Why are the F-150 built in Dearborn not being shipped to dealers. Lots of trucks being stored in empty lots all around the Dearborn Michigan area. Why?

I've got (6) 2019 F-150's that just arrived at the Newark, NJ Ramp with 5 that were built at the Dearborn plant. F-150's ship pretty quickly and I haven't seen any delays at all lately. joesann
Somethings obviously wrong with them ??? Got them built but not shipped. Wonder what’s up ?
fuzzymoomoo
They build much faster than they’re shipped, not to mention a lot of the shipping companies are shut down for the holidays just like the plant.
joesann
This was going on before Xmas break. Way to many setting to be a shipping problem. Used to build Mustangs at Flatrock with problems or parts missing and finish them later. But they were built
fuzzymoomoo
I work on the line that builds the firewalls for F-150s. We've been overbuilding for almost the entire month of December.

Repairable1
Ordered mine 8/13 and was built 12/4. Been sitting ever since in Dearborn. Was a period with "factory quality control hold" I was told. But released from that on 12/26.
