donjksr
I have a 1996 Ranger with the ABS/Brake lights constantly on. The master cylinder is full and all 4 brakes have been bled. Could it be the sensor on top of the rear differential?
DeeCee
Had a brake light come and go and finally got it out with a light tap on the brake reservoir which apparently freed the stuck float. The fluid level was right at the full line. ( this was a few years ago as I no longer own the vehicle.) donjksr
Thanks! I've tried that in the past as well
YT90SC
It is all conjecture until you have a code to base diagnostics from. Does it have 4WABS or RABS?
donjksr
I believe it's just RABS
YT90SC
Key on, disconnect the RABS self test connector on the passenger's a pillar behind the glove box area. Key still on, GROUND the black and orange end of the connector. This will cause the RABS to output codes via flash of the bulb. Count the flashes to get the code.
