LSX
Would it be possible to add a keypad to a escape passenger door using RHD Kuga parts. This would bein tandem to the factory system on a 2014 Escape.
akirby
It might be possible but a simpler solution would be to get the aftermarket version which can go anywhere and is wireless. https://accessories.ford.com/electronics/keyless-entry/actuator-asy.html
fordtech1
Could it be done, possibly. But I suspect it being a lot of work. You would have to custom wire it. Im sure the door harness from a RHD would not match the LHD body harness.
fuzzymoomoo
Speaking from my experience building C-Max doors (the internals are mostly identical to the Escape) you would have to replace everything from the door latch to the wiring harness in the door, and the outer B-Piller appliqué with the keypad built into it. You would pretty much have to disassemble the entire door (including removing the window) to do it. RHD parts will not work unless you want a non-functioning keypad on the passenger side door for whatever reason. I would take akirby's advice and find an aftermarket kit.
