Stained rear cab corners after waxing

Recommended Posts

I have 2018 white Superduty. I waxed it today and the wax stained the plastic rear cab corners. I have tried using heavy vinyl cleaner and some other vinyl cleaners with no success. Have tried 303 marine cleaner and even peanut oil. Nothing has helped. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sorry misspoke thought it was black plastic you were trying to get the wax off. Have you tried a final polish with a blue buffing pad or Mothers fine polish. The diamond polish from mothers with a orange pad would be the extreme

I had the same issue on my 2017 F-150 I took to dealer and he said that it was almost impossible to match color on plastic as it was to aluminum. It bothered me for awhile but got used to it after awhile. Did it match before you waxed it out of curiosity?
