In the "old days" I was of the belief Elliott owned a Ford dealership-or two. True?

 

Always surprised me as to how the success in the early years of these guy's careers failed to foster any sense of brand loyalty. I certainly understand that the almighty dollar rules, but It would be nice to know that some remember who gave them their first good opportunities.

Rick Hendrick has owned several Honda dealerships for years, and Roger Penske I think owns a few Toyota dealers.

It is hard to be "brand loyal" when all the cars look the same courtesy of NASCAR itself beating that loyalty out of the fans with the "Car of Tomorrow"...
