Ford is celebrating 20th anniversary of Mustang Alley with plans to have Bullitt parade and debut of all-new Ford product, article says.https://www.motor1.com/news/262336/ford-vehicle-debut-woodward/ This article says Team Shelby is celebrating 10th and 50th anniversary of the Shelby GT500KR with their own several events at Woodward. There is also a private event at Henry Ford Museum with none other than Carrol Shelby's grandson as speaker. Since we have already seen the F150 and Ranger Raptors, maybe a Super Duty? The rumored Timberline has been tied to the Super Duty. We haven't seen the Bronco yet, so what else could it be? I was responding to rmc523's comment in which he replied to someone else that he thinks it's GT500 in regards to another Ford event to be held at Woodward Cruise-In in Detroit in addition to the upcoming gaming event. The articles I posted links say what I was referring to which was the Woodward event as rmc523 brought up. As for the gaming event, I'm thinking either the Timberline you mentioned or perhaps the Baby Bronco (Maverick). I highly doubt Ford would do the actual Bronco reveal in Germany of all places. Haha, there are apparently two events: 1) Woodward Dream Cruise - this is where I think Mustang will be - pffan's post points out all the Mustang-related celebrations happening, so it only makes sense for this to be GT500. 2) Gamescom (the event originally mentioned in this thread) - it's a European video game event, so I doubt it'd be Super Duty - that's why he said maybe the Euro debut of Ranger Raptor. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You're right about Mustang Drag car. It's apparently Cobra Jet according to this article which they say was confirmed by someone inside Ford Performance. Looking kinda like GT500 but yet doesn't and it says '8.18.18' with comment saying that it would be revealed Saturday the 18th at 11AM. Separate event from the Cobra Jet presentation. I figured GT500 and that Ford was letting Shelby American present it. I didn't think much of it until I saw one comment mentions that it looked like removable t-roof panel but hard to tell since it was disguised under the sheet. However, just now logged in Facebook and saw the post was edited to remove the image with some changes made. Now mentions post-title car so it's something based on existing car. You can see the attachment of the screenshot I just took where someone asked GT500 and the Shelby American straight out said it wasn't the GT500. Possibly post-title Shelby version of Mustang GT. I do remember that they announced their own modern day supercar similar to the Shelby Series 1. I thought that this could be it but status mentions 'post-title'. Guess we'll have to see. The info regarding Gamescon reveal is that the new production vehicle is a debut showing, not something that has already been revealed. So I'm ruling Ranger Raptor out.
