Fgts
At first the editor though it was a CT5 but with comparison with early CT5 pics it's determined it's the CT4 sedan. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2018/08/this-cadillac-ct5-prototype-is-really-the-ct4/ Both cars look bigger then the current ATS/CTS. MY93SHO
Lincoln's car line-up? That's the best you can come up with? Go home and sharpen your wit.
jpd80
Cadillac can try by all means but I doubt that it will result in any major bump in sales. We're now seeing the rusted on premium and luxury car buyers hanging in there while everyone else has moved on to Utilities and trucks. I think the moment has passed with RWD luxury cars and this is just GM throwing good money after bad in the hopes that something magical will happen. Fgts
Cadillac can try by all means but I doubt that it will result in any major bump in sales. On the contrary China sales are on fire, both cars won't be US only, if anything the chief concern on the current ATS/CTS is the passenger room which I assume they fixed. We're now seeing the rusted on premium and luxury car buyers hanging in there while everyone else has moved on to Utilities and trucks. I think the moment has passed with RWD luxury cars and this is just GM throwing good money after bad in the hopes that something magical will happen. And with cheap fwd cars dying (XTS), Camaro having it's cost spread and the 2 new utilities coming online think GM is satisfied with the ROI on the Alpha Cadillacs. On one level I agree with you, but new Cadillacs are being designed as much for the Chinese market as for the North American one. Have the Chinese moved as decisively to SUVs/crossovers as the North Americans have?
rmc523
Lincoln's car line-up? My point is - despite all the hubub about using the Escala styling everywhere, this still looks to be more of the same design plus a horizontal headlight. silvrsvt
Have the Chinese moved as decisively to SUVs/crossovers as the North Americans have? I think they are starting to, but the Chinese market, to me at least, will follow what other markets are demanding
jasonj80
. Have the Chinese moved as decisively to SUVs/crossovers as the North Americans have? Yes, as has Europe. Difference is you're dealing with a market that is 28 million units and growing. Why the Mondeo (and Taurus) is getting an update in China and dropped everywhere else.
