cg01vette
Hello all, I couldn't find a topic search box so here goes. I have the dreaded shifter not recognizing it is in park and clicking until it registers. I bought a brand new shift assembly and I tried to remove the existing one and can't figure out the trick to remove the bezel. I afraid to pull on it and break it. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank!
twintornados
I had the "shift to park" dilemma in my 2011...took to dealer, enjoyed a loaner and picked up my car when it was done...real simple fix.

akirby
There is a thread over on the ford edge forum about just replacing the microswitch and it's only a few bucks. Let me see if I can find it.

The edge is a little different based on what I'm seeing on youtube.

cg01vette
TTT - anyone else have some experience with this?
blwnsmoke
You don't need to buy the whole shift assembly. You can get a replacement kit now for under $40 which is the switch and wire harness only.
