Kev-Mo
Today no, tomorrow who knows. However if NAFTA plants get affected it wont matter as the US be in a depression and rest of the world will be in a bad recession. No one will be buying cars or trucks anyways. Apparently the Dow and NASDAQ do not agree with you! No smackdown now, we'll re-visit this statement in 1 year, then 2 years and see how correct you are. Kev-Mo
How you gonna call it active and not include awd? I am with you - Ford just can't seem to get it right! The photos look good though. Edited August 28, 2018 by Kev-Mo

Based on the deal today I don't see much changing, which is why the markets responded the way they did. Few suppliers will need to juggle/setup shop in the US/Canada for higher wages but some of that will be off set by smaller number of components on vehicles as time goes on and what they do setup will be highly automated production. Overall impact will be marginal at best on the cost side which should help price increases; more importantly should stem the flow to south of the boarder production but the damage has been done for the most part and most of that business is not going to relocate back the US/Canada. The 75% rule is good and I suspect that Canada will like the 45% from high wage. Only part that will be interesting is Softwood lumber and Dairy on the Canadian side.
