psvenndex
We have a travel trailer with a GVWR of 7000 lbs. We have the Heavy Duty Trailer Tow package on our vehicle. Do we need a Weight Distribution hitch for this trailer.
akirby
Sounds like yes to me. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0ahUKEwjO68nJ5_baAhXE6lMKHUJNBxUQFgg3MAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ford.com%2Fcmslibs%2Fcontent%2Fdam%2Fbrand_ford%2Fen_us%2Fbrand%2Fresources%2Fgeneral%2Fpdf%2Fguides%2F18RV%26TT_Ford_Expedition_Oct5.pdf&usg=AOvVaw3OLGW6eoJxH3_BuoL7uJAd
fordmantpw
Yes, you do. And you also want an anti-sway bar on the hitch as well.

psvenndex
Thanks for all of the good information. One more thing is how important is it to drive for 1000 miles (per manual) before towing.

I wouldn't call it super important, but I would try to get as close to those 1000 miles as possible. It helps to wear the gears in and make sure everything meshes well. Get close, then hook up and enjoy!
