We ordered it also ....

We bought a 2017 2500 RAM pickup and my Wife was bummed when I bought a CD and

went to play it in the truck and it had no CD player. She was so happy when I told her the

B&O sound system came with one in HER new car ;-)

Rob ....

What sucked, is that for the 19's, you HAVE to get the B&O package to even get the CD player. Before that is was standard on the 18's.

My wife went to put an audio book in our 2018 Focus loaner/rental. No CD player. She was a little bummed, but at least the book was a free loaner like the car. :)

they took it out of the Focus in its last year?

Lol

Just looked at the order guide. Only available in SEL and above

LMAO

I've ordered the B&O system in my 2019, I just hope it stacks up to the 485 watt Pioneer setup that came in my Ranger. That stereo has spoiled me pretty badly.

It may not. It's roughly the same as the Sony system (may even use the same speakers) and while I thought it was perfectly adequate in my Fusion others don't like it. You can always swap out the speakers which should help and add a sub if really necessary.

The Mustang had a Shaker branded system. Not sure if that was any different than the Sony system in the rest of the Ford lineup.

From what I understand it was completely different and much better than the Sony system (at least in the bass dept).

I figured that's what I'd have to do if I didn't like it, the 8" sub had me do a bit of a double take, but speakers and installation are relatively inexpensive, I'll just have to look at the amp situation in the car.

From what I understand on the Raptor forum, the B & O requires a special adapter that costs $850. So, far only one company makes them.

I can’t remember the last time I even touched a CD. Usb sticks are so much easier.

I hear ya. Only a couple times in past I used the player. I pretty much use phone or Pandora. Songs from my phone I try to make sure I have at least a 320kb mp3. Been thinking of going lossless to keep the quality though.
