I doubt you will get a pin. Ford cracked down on employees a few years ago requiring that they actually know the person receiving the pin as opposed to giving them out on forums.

Nowadays you can usually get about the same price without a PIN anyway.

That's disappointing to hear. I had used one about 10 years ago for an Expedition I bought for the wife. It was the easiest transaction ever. Do you think the MCA is the easiest way to go these days? Thanks for the information. Regardless If anyone has one and I can use please feel free to PM me. Thanks

Honestly, you can probably get internet pricing from the dealer that matches X plan without even trying.

They changed the formula a few years ago. X plan is now about $150 over dealer invoice whereas before it was below invoice, so it’s not as good of a deal.

I just bought a F150 last month - which model and options are you looking at and I’ll see if I can give you a comparison.

Why dont you just join Mustang Club of America to get the X plan eligibility.  It is a sticky thread.

Dealers are offering better than Xplan. Mine just offered $500 below invoice, and I have a $3,000 private cash offer which I believe you can get now.

You have to be careful with that though. There is at least a $1000 rebate that’s not advertised that would most likely also apply to X plan. The $3K rebate would also apply to X plan. So X plan still might be slightly cheaper but it’s so close that it’s not really worth worrying about at this point.

Hello,
We've had Fords for decades. My 1st new car was a 1991 Ford Escort bought in Hayward Ford, CA. About $12k - pretty dark blue 2 door, grey interior and 5 speed stick. Dealer taught me to drive a stick shift in the back parking lot! LOL

Today, leaning towards a 2018 F-150 SuperCrew 4x4 6.5" Box 3.5EB/10speedAT Lariat 502A, moonroof, max trailer. MSRP north of $55k {gulp!} Will be trading in 2015 convertible Mustang =(

Don't know what an X-Plan would be pricewise. Any ideas would be appreciated. PM or email would be ok joihan777@yahoo.com

Thanks! BTW - I considered a Sahara Jeep Unlimited- couldn't do it!

You'll get just as good of a deal without X plan on the F150s if you shop around a little.   Ford cracked down on employees giving out pins to strangers on the internet so doubtful you'd get one here now anyway.
