Curb Weight of 2018 Ford EcoSport

Recommended Posts

Been looking but unable to find the Curb Weight of the 2018 Ford EcoSport? Every site (including) Ford.com list Curb Weight....NA? One Car Reviews alleges that the EcoSport is supposed to weight approximately 100 lbs more the a Honda HR-V? Anyone have some hard numbers?

The Ford Utilities guide says 3,021 lbs for 1.0L Ecoboost FWD and 3,300 for 2.0L 4WD. Very close to the numbers CurtisH found. https://media.ford.com/content/dam/fordmedia/North%20America/US/product/2018/EcoSport/18-ecosport.pdf

For comparison Honda HR-V curb weights are 2,902 lbs for 2WD and 3,062 lbs for 4WD.

Thanks to both CurtisH an yourself for the Info. Could`t find it anywhere. Saw where someone Posted that the 2018 EcoSport was about 100 lbs heavier then the 2017/2018 Honda HR-V. Curious why the Honda with a significantly larger displacement Natural Aspired 4 cyl. engine get an average of 5 more mpg across the board? Guess when I throw the Emergency Spare Tire Donut into the lower cargo space shelf of the EcoSport it might go down even more despite the fact the Honda comes equipped already with an Emergency Spare Tire an Jack Assembly. Again, must be the "Boxy" Aero-Dynamics of the EcoSport an higher ground clearance causing wind drag.
