But enough about me ranting on.......

 

What is it that you guys want to see in a Ranger Raptor/

 

Obviously everyone leaps to the 2.7 EB but what if Ford goes all out with a TT 3.0 V6 from Lincoln,

improved to 450 hp and 450 lb ft via twin fuel injection and bigger turbos......

. They wont use the 3.0. The numbers would be too close to the 150

That just seems like a highly unnecessary restriction.

 

Ford should design all it's vehicles to be best in class, not worrying about nutering the ranger because "muh f150 sales"

 

What's sad is you're probably 100% right and that's why Ford sucks right now

Hey, I’d be happy with the 2.3 EB with a tune but really, global will

well a ton of 2.0 diesel Raptors around the globe, a gas engine would give some markets more choice

Ford can just put the 2.3 EB in the global Ranger in Thailand where Aussies get theirs

 

I don't think Ford will bother with RHD Ranger production in the US.

If its somehow more cost effective to do it here they will, especially if

 

A. The Bronco does end up being RHD

 

B. They do end up bringing the Everest to MAP.

You won't beat $9/day labor in Thailand plus they are already set up for both RHD and LHD production.

Except the ROW doesn't get F-150, period. So therefore you're "stuck" with the Ranger Raptor. Here we'll get both vehicles, so both Raptors are possible.

The rest of the automotive world that doesn't wear blue shaded glasses might disagree. And we may just be stuck with the F-150 as the only Raptor choice since nobody needs both, based on how you choose to interpret Hameedi's response.

 

Me thinks One Ford, if there ever was such a thing, went out the door right behind Mulally.
