Catherine McClarey
This sounds like what our local dealer is probably using to order a 2018 Transit Connect for us. We had originally used the "build & price" tool on the Ford website to pick out what features we'd like in a 2016 Transit Connect (because of the promotion going on this month on the 2016 & 2017 model years); however, the closest our local dealer could find to those specs in dealer stock was a 2017 vehicle with several features we didn't want (moonroofs in the Midwest? wouldn't they leak if snow or rain gets on them?) and lacking other features we did want (no SYNC, which we've come to love on the hubby's 2013 Focus). The dealer said that "the 2017 model year is balanced out" (no new orders?), so his recommendation was that we just order a 2018. It stinks that we might not have the new vehicle in time to haul the kids' stuff home from college in May, but at least we should have it in time for family vacations this summer. akirby
Moonroofs don't leak unless they're broken, which is rare.
Pioneer
Moonroofs don't leak unless they're broken, which is rare. Or if their drain tubes are plugged. Which is also rare.
akirby
Or if their drain tubes are plugged. Which is also rare. From the perspective of having a leak that you wouldn't have without the moonroof that's true even though that's technically not a moonroof leak.
