argos587
Have a 2008 Edge. The engine will vibrate when the temprature outside is in the 40s or below. No codes or warning lights. Monitored the air intake temp sensor and it reads with ambient air temperature. Runs smooth when outside air temp is above 50 degrees. Doesn't matter if engine is warm or cold, vibration is the same. Any ideas?
fuzzymoomoo
Check your engine mounts, especially the left one. Over time the rubber degrades and the oil leaks out and causes it to feel like your engine is going to vibrate out of the car. I changed mine in my Focus and it made a world of difference. DoubleTap
I know this is old news but my wife’s 08 Edge Limited with 200k + miles had this vibration and the new motor mount on the drivers side made it drive like a new car. Now it is time to pull the dash again for round 2 on the heater fix. We drove new Edge ST at Texas NASCAR Race in November. Probably will have one sometime in 2019.
