Roland
No Coyote though..... No, clearly not. But I'm guessing that it would cost too much to add AWD to the Mustang platform. The only other way to do it with the Coyote would be using a truck platform and that just wouldn't be competitive. I suppose that they could allow for it in engineering the next generation Mustang platform but it seems unlikely that for will be doing anything to add more V8s to their lineup. Maybe if they provide AWD through some kind of hybrid electric arrangement it could work.
meyeste
Now that it appears Ford is preparing to do this; if it's successful - I hope you'll give me some credit. And it will be successful.
1984Poke
And a Lincoln product on that platform dedicated to that "Sport CUV niche" - maybe a Lincoln Zephyr or Capri if you want to mine existing brands. Not Capri, please. Makes me think of womens skinny pants. Some other name.

Or the name of some fighter plane, ocean current, fast wind, something like that... Something appropriate to a performance vehicle and that fits with Lincoln's new naming convention. HotRunrGuy
Let's be proper here, it's a Shooting Brake, not a Station Wagon. HRG
92merc
There was a debate on the forum about the term "Shooting Brake" too. Some argued whether that meant 2 door or 4 door. Personally, it's a sports wagon to me.
akirby
Historically it’s always been a 2 door.

akirby
What is the fascination with the "shooting brake" I don't get it It's a European thing. Rich people with fancy two seat sports cars needed a place for their shotguns when they went shooting.
