LivingForSummer
My buddy was told today that because he was off on personal medical for the summer, he wont be getting signing bonus. (won't let me change title, accidently said profit sharing) He's been back for almost 2 months. Don't have the books to look it up, but it don't sound right. They let him vote. Does anyone know? madime39
He'll get profit sharing, it just won't be as much as if he had worked the entire year.

Your buddy, meaning you, should have worked.

superjake
Welcome to new contract! Your buddy should have not hurt himself! How dare an employee take justified medical leave? What do you think this is? America or something? Hey run it by little penis, no balls, or some call him weeman, or weecountry! My bad for the confusion I just can't remember! LivingForSummer
Well LIONS, yes I would have loved to have had the summer off, as I LOVE summer, but NO I did not. And I'm sure HE would have much rather been working than suffering like he did. I should not let it bother me that people can be so judgemental, but I guess that is just how some people are. I thought this was a forum to ask questions about Ford Motor Company issues???

LivingForSummer
WOW! I was simply asking a contract issue. If it makes you feel better, I will LIE and say it was me. Now. . . does anyone know if this is the case?
justwishing
WOW! I was simply asking a contract issue. If it makes you feel better, I will LIE and say it was me. Now. . . does anyone know if this is the case? On leave of absence beginning not earlier than 90 days prior to the date of this agreement will receive a lump-sum ratification bonus payable in the second pay period following official notification. These are the employees that will receive the ratification bonus. The official date of the contract should be Sept. 15. So, if you were on a leave that started before 6/15, a ratification bonus will probably not be paid out. Confusing though.
trailfndr
If he was back to work before ratification, he should receive any bonus paid But I would have him check with his bargaining committee.

kthorns2
Went out on workers comp end of July and I was told you have to be on active roll 90 days prior to November 23. Does not matter if you are on comp or personal medical.
