Research Firm Sees U.S. Car Maker Labor Costs Up Significantly Under New Contracts

Two prominent researchers estimate labor costs for the Detroit car makers will rise significantly under new contract agreements with the United Auto Workers union, undoing much of the savings achieved by the companies over the last eight years.

Know how many vehicles for Ford Mexico has produced in the last 45 years? 2.4 million, Mexico doesnt have the productivity to take our hot sellers over & it would take them too long to achieve it, in the mean time Ford would lose market share, dont see them risking that. Mexico is a scare tactic & nothing more.

Not getting into a pointless back & forth with you, just giving info, if you dont want to believe it, thats your business.

Also this wont happen next week. Youll get what you want then the investment in American stops while they build plants in Mexico. Next contract the work moves and the plant closings start. I cant believe how short minded you people are.
