15DIBFLEX
Hi Everyone. I have a feeling I'll need assistance in a month and a half with tracking information, so I guess I'll start by introducing myself. I come from a household that's purchased Fords since 1987. Here's a list of our Ford vehicles since then. 1987 Escort 1997 Escort 1999 Contour 1999 Escort 2003 SVT Focus 2004 Mazda 3 (when Mazda was still 33+% owned by Ford) 2006 Mazdaspeed6 (when Mazda was still 33+% owned by Ford) - My current weekend car that I'll be trading in or selling when the Flex comes 2011 Mazda 3 (when Mazda was ~3% owned by Ford) - Totaled 2013 Ford C-Max - Current Daily Driver 2015 Mazda 3 - Dad's Daily Driver and recently, we put a deposit for a 2015 Flex. I always knew that we had a long history with Ford, but until I started making this list, I didn't know the history was that extensive. My sister also still owns a 2005ish Explorer. fordmantpw
Welcome! You will love the Flex! We now have 91k on ours and we are still loving it.
15DIBFLEX
Yes, definitely looking forward to it. Since we bought the C-Max Dec 2012, we only put less than 1500 miles a year on my Mazdaspeed6. I'm sure we'll use the Flex much more than that. 15DIBFLEX
I was finally able to generate a window sticker from my vin yesterday... still nothing much on ETIS though (still has a build date of 30.11.0002). I'm just a bit anxious as I have personal offers from Ford that expire at the end of the month. Dealer says to expect delivery end of the month. akirby
Your dealer wasn't able to lock in your incentives under the incentive protection program? (I think it's still in place but not 100% sure).
rp2388
Your dealer wasn't able to lock in your incentives under the incentive protection program? (I think it's still in place but not 100% sure). I think it varies by dealership. When I went in to get my Fusion, they didn't let me use any of the incentives until the car was actually there. Turned out better for me in the end because Ford released more incentives but experience seems to vary across the board.
akirby
It requires the dealer to perform an action when the order is first placed. Some dealers don't seem to know about the program so they don't even offer it, even if it's available. I also heard that it's only available to some dealers. Hard to get a straight answer. 15DIBFLEX
They did lock in my incentives. I have the $3000 off with a lease which expired the end of September locked it. But I also have a couple personal offers from Ford. $750 for the EcoBoost challenge plus a couple coupons that came with Ford brochures. These last few expired. I need/want to use the EcoBoost one before it expires.
Russell Humphreys
I too am waiting for my Ford. The waiting is the hardest part.
