Mark B. Morrow
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKJXf_CkCds...pgear%20burnout "Top Gear Ford Mustang" Fantastic clip. I love Top Gear. The end is the best. Greatest car ever? well it; Changed the world; Mobilized a generation; Redirected the way we thought about cars; and Sounded like God shouting. I should say so yeah. The clip titled "Mustang1" is in German. I don't understand a word the guy said but it looked like he had a blast driving the GT convertible Edited August 25, 2006 by Mark B. igor
Let me tell you this .... My father lives in Europe, and the closest he ever got to Us was when he took a vacation in Dominican republic. He drives a Citroen Xsatra Picasso and is excited it has 100 horses. oves small cars, etc ... a typical european .. well guess what he drools over at night ... that is right the Mustang. I remember being at home and Ford having the mustang on display in a mall.. They do not sell those beasts in Europe, but people still knew it was a Ford and drooled all over that car .. Mustang is an icon, and this 05 reincarnation captures it damn well. Regardless of what people say about the solid rear axle ... this car is one sweet ride. retro-man
My wife loves the new Mustang. My son loves the new Mustang. My 72 year old mother loves the new Mustang. A 28 year old merchandising director I know in Tokyo loves the new Mustang. Figure out how to take some of that magic to the rest of the line, and a lot of problems would go away. p.s. andquittryingtobuildanothergoddamcamry
RichardJensen
Yeah. But Ford sucks because they won't import the Focus RS. THAT'S what's really important here.

goingincirclez
Yeah. But Ford sucks because they won't import the Focus RS. THAT'S what's really important here. Ford doesn't suck because of that... but for cryin' out loud, why is the Mustang always Ford's be-all end-all of modern, affordable (sorry, GT doesn't count) fun performance of late? Sorry to say, there are those of us who respect and admire the Mustang for what it is, and are glad to see it out there... but just don't want or can't use one. So would a Focus RS really be such a bad thing? I have a magazine, the 1989 SI Swimsuit issue I think, that I've kept around for one reason: A Ford Ad. An ad that initially shows the Mustang GT... but folds out to reveal the slogan "Ford: Outperforming Every Car Company in America". And it was true: pacing the Mustang GT is the TBird SC, Probe GT, Escort GT, and Taurus SHO. Something for everyone! Why is that such a bad thing? I say we should do a swap deal... we build a Mustang for overseas, and FoE builds a Focus RS for us...
