2015 Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon I-4 EPA Ratings

Recommended Posts

Did they quit making the Canyon/Colorado for a few years?

Yes, I believe they did take a production hiatus for a year or so.

Yes - in between the old and new models.

IIRC, they stopped Canyonado production before the banrkuptcy, as the Canyonado factory in Louisiana was included in the "Bad GM" assets, along with all those ignition modules and liability and so on and so forth. So that would mean 5 years or more.

The still don't get it, you don't need a 30 mpg Mid sized truck to clean up half ton truck ratings.

Just do what's needed, lose some weight and lift all fuel economy figures..

August 2012 was when the last one was built, but they where sold into 2013

Silverado/Sierra sales will drop regardless.

I think GM brass have resigned themselves to the fact that Ram will be #2 shortly (it already is in Canada). They have given up producing a class leading truck.

Better to lose those sales to yourself in a slightly different segment than to Ford or Ram.
