630land
Yes, the negative 'know it alls' were wrong again. If a car is not 'super high performance', they look for a reason that "it will flop".
RichardJensen
Edge completely displaced Murano at the top of that segment. Murano hit 10k, I think, before the Edge launched.

Yeah, if I recall Murano was typically right around 10K prior to Edge...it has been halved since then.

NickF1011
outside of the ugly grill on it, the Murano is pretty nice... I considered it briefly prior to looking at the Edge. The tech in the Edge sold me though. Stupid MFT. You're losing buyers for Ford. :P

timf
I drove a Murano for 4 years and it was a very nice car. The technology on the all-new model in 2008 was superior to what Ford offered on the Edge and MKX at the time. When I test drove the 2008 MKX I was underwhelmed (never got around to trying the Edge at that time). The refreshed Edge with MFT totally blew away what Nissan offers. Aside from adding a heated steering wheel and changing the LEDs from orange to white, the 2012 Murano was virtually identical to the 2009 and could not compete price-wise. I would agree with that assessment. I wasn't completely thrilled with the 2010 Edge SEL I had as a rental once. What a difference a year makes.
