jpd80
I'm still just hoping someone at Ford doesn't decide that increasing displacement (and HP) in the Mustang GT somehow makes Ford look "irresponsible" and decides to can the whole project. Look at the flip side, what is GM offering with the Camaro? The 5.0 engine size is fairly traditional in the Mustang and V8s account for only half of all sales. I think the engine fits with current policy especially since the EB V6 will also be offered to buyers.

Of course, I've long been under the opinion that anything bigger smacks of some sort of Phallic Inferiority Complex... That, and I'm still hoping Ford releases a "BOSS 5.0" some time in the near future... Out of curiosity, what is the difference in weight and dimension between the Coyote and Boss (formerly "Hurricane") engines?

Not known yet but think Big Block Vs Small Block weight difference and you'll be pretty safe.
