Our reliability stats for the Escape now cover the year ending June 30, 2015. (Others are over a year behind, and so report how these cars were doing when a year younger.)

Repair trips per 100 cars:

2015 Escape: 9, low

2014 Escape: 44, moderate

2013 Escape: 40, moderate

2012 Escape: 40, moderate, small sample size

2011 Escape: 59, moderate

2010 Escape: 64, moderate

2009 Escape: 45, low

2008 Escape: 48, low

2007 Escape: 94, high, very small sample size

2006 Escape: 73, moderate

2005 Escape: 76, moderate

2004 Escape: 108, moderate, small sample size

2003 Escape: 69, low

2002 Escape: 44, low, very small sample size

2001 Escape: 51, low, very small sample size

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2014 Escape: 64, < 1

2013 Escape: 71, 2

2010 Escape: 48, 4

2009 Escape: 68, 3

2008 Escape: 67, < 1

2006 Escape: 65, 8

If a model year's sample size is small, then we especially need more owners involved.

No stat, or a small sample size? Then we especially need more owners involved for that model year.
