Dealer code: 74005 Model Year: 2008 Body type: P28(?) AWD Limited Taurus Order Number: 5138 Order Code: 150A On the order sheet, it says "Priority: 10". What does this mean? On Monday, 7-29, it will be six weeks since the receipt date (6-18) of our order for a new Taurus. Is it unusual for it to take this long to get to the serialized stage? When we ordered it, the sales manager did call Ford to make sure that we did not order any options that would cause a delay in build. Can you comment on this please? Thanks! As far as I know, Taurus production has just officially started. Ask your dealer what the expected delivery date will be. They should be able to tell him. Sorry, as far as scheduling goes, that means next to nothing without knowing the details and options of your order. The only thing it DOES mean is that your orders were placed near the same time.
