Hello all, SCoville 619 from San Diego here. New member, and I am looking for a tech savvy forum on the 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviators. I have owned a 96 Thunderbird that was an impound magnet, but faaaaast, a 95 Mercury Cougar Xr7, with the most unusual plenum I had yet seen, and practically every...single... motor related issue found with the 4.6, EXCEPT the cracking of the plastic plenum as mine was cast aluminum. an 05 Montego, with a real bad pressure valve in the steering rack and my new purchase, a 2003 Aviator with the 4V 4.6L modular!...an auction purchase with 205k miles. ( during the inspection, I didn't press the info button on center console to switch from trip to mileage, thinking it a steal with the 166k miles listed). she has some problems and I am hoping to find solutions here. Please, if you can point me to threads regarding overdrive cutoff not responding, ( od off /buster light lit constantly on the dash), the old gear selector wont move with foot on brake, sereto schematics, and upgrading to SYNC from an 2003 model, tune up on a 4V, um... best suggestion for front suspension parts and bushings, and... what's up with the DVD? Thank you!

GM announced the fuel economy numbers for both the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and its fraternal twin GMC Canyon today, and those numbers are about what we expected—good, but not great. In fact, the 2.5-liter I-4's ratings are only a little bit better than the Colorado and Canyon's V-6 EPA ratings. Two-wheel drive, four-cylinder Colorado/Canyons with a six-speed automatic transmission get an EPA estimated 20 mpg in the city, and 27 mpg on the highway, with a combined rating of 22 mpg. Trucks with a manual transmission, because it’s slightly heavier, will get an EPA estimated 19/26/22. http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2014/09/2015-chevrolet-coloradogmc-canyon-i-4-epa-ratings.html

I posted this on the Ford Fusion Energi Forum as well: http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/topic/1293-fuellycom-adds-the-fusion-energi-to-their-database/ but thought I would let everyone here know too: I have been talking with Fuelly.com and finally got them to add and separate the Fusion Energi as a car/engine type. So if you are using in Fuelly to track your fill-ups, you can now set it to the correct car type. And if not, go and do NOTE: Fuelly is not tracking power use so this only tracks the gas used to the miles traveled. They may do something with MPGe in the future. Lots of thanks to Fuelly for listening and responding. http://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/fusion%20energi/2013

Wondering if anyone can help. I just ordered my new 2013 F250 Platinum 6.7L and although the gas milage is pretty good on it (I drove my friends home from the dealer for him the other night), I heard that some performance chips can jump 5-6MPG. The chip Im looking for is simply for MPG, I dont need to mess with HP "YET". I was also told to look with one with a ghost mode that I can use for to save my warranty... OK...GO! What are your suggestions?

Ok, so I know that I'm under 1,000 miles and that mileage improves once you break that barrier (or near it), but this is a little extreme. I'm getting 10.5-12.6 MPG. This is not only what the vehicle is calculating, but also (almost exactly matching) what filling the tank and diving gallons into miles gives me. This seems extremely low. I understand that initial mileage might be a little off the registered EPA estimates, but less than 50%? It's an escape 2.0L AWD Titanium. I know it's winter, I know I live in the City and that lowers mileage, but doesn't this still seem very low to everyone?
