Hey there, names J.C. and I'm new to here with this being my first post/question.. I just recently bought a 2012 Fusion SE 2.5L that I am trying to make more presentable for my wife to drive and have already switched all the interior lights to LEDs, change all headlights and exterior lights to LEDs including switchbacks for turn signals, taken off the old tint and had new tint put on and put window visors on it, have cleaned and steamed the interior, gotten a lot of different interior trim pieces from pick-and-pulls, switched out the shocks and struts, and just got through replacing the front lower control arms last night and have done all this within a month, since I have had it. It's definitely a good project car since I have a 2017 Nissan Altima that I've done the same to but my altima is slammed and sitting on some concave Vossen wheels and I'm pretty much done with it and got it to where I want it so I figured the Fusion would be fun to fix up. Enough about me though let's get to the point so hopefully somebody will help me out. I have a spoiler that is the correct color and fits perfectly on the car, it's not a fusion spoiler though it came off a Milan which I know has a lot of interchangeable parts, the spoiler has a taillight on it so my question is what have people done with the third brake light on the trunk when installing a spoiler on a fusion that didn't originally come with one? I know this has had to come up before but I've searched the many fusion forums and can't find anything. It would really look silly have a taillight on the spoiler and directly sitting on another brake light plus the two taillights so is there a piece that goes into the original spot of the trunk light that's painted or have people just had to live with it with no options? I ordered a Black Diamond with a MID package, because there was no option for the LUX package. The MID package does not come with a front facing camera (at least that is my understanding). I want the front facing camera to use while climbing trails. It’s very useful to see the road in front of you when you can only see sky through the windshield. Is there a Ford parts or aftermarket solution to get the front camera on the Black Diamond? I do have the auxiliary switches, so that might be an option for power? Can I get it to work with Sync 4?

Hello all, I apologize if this has been asked before but I did a search and couldn’t find any results and I am having a heck of a time gett8ng a straight answer to some questions I have about towing packages. I have a 2017 Ford Edge SEL which does not have the factory installed tow package. According to my owner manual, this means my max tow weight is 2000lbs, as opposed to 3500 with the tow package. According to my local Ford dealer, they can install a tow harness and hitch for me, but the service advisor didn’t know about any after market transmission or radiator cooling. (at least, that particular service advisor just didn’t know) When I contacted Ford directly, all they could tell me is that the “tow package” includes a hitch, 4-pin wiring harness, and “anti sway controller,” which as far as I can tell, is the electronics that sends power to the tires to correct sway. Nothing about any larger batteries, additional transmission cooling etc. So, my question is, can I get any of these components installed after the fact so that I can get the tow max up to the 3500lbs I need or am I SOL and need to get a new car? Thanks in advance as I can’t seem to get a definitive answer to this anywhere...

Hello all, Newbie here to this forum. I have searched and havent been able to find any after market products for my vehicle. I dont want much, mostly cosmetic actually. I have a guy who is willing to powder coat my wheels and grill insert to my specifications. What Im mostly looking for is either tint for the headlights or aftermarket smoky headlights that look stock. I like the look of my car and its a beautiful MKX but theres TOO much chrome. Any help would be appreciated and if theres someone on here who has done similar work to theres please let me know. Thanks

Trying to gander at some tire options for the future but I can't seem to find anything that would have more grip than what stock Pirelli's would have. Looking to go wider on the rear. Maybe 265. Still running stock CS rims which I believe are 8.5 wide so I don't want to go too wide on the tire. Any ideas? Nitto's? BF Goodrench? Yokohama? Street Radials maybe? What website has a good selection other than Discount Tire Direct.com? Thanks for all the info!
