  1. No. Scheduled orders can be changed up until the time the vehicle is locked in for production. Changes to an order always change the scheduled production date. If the vehicle is locked in for production, any attempted changes will be rejected.
  2. Agreed. That's why I wrote my post. The logistics involved alone are enormous.
  3. Ford doesn't usually provide information on why scheduled production dates are pushed back. But then again, this year is exceptional with scheduling, production and supplier issues. Deleting the Adaptive Steering isn't likely to move your production date forward but the situation is such, with Super Duty orders in particular, that there's just no way of knowing.
  4. Ford's floating the idea with some Dealers but haven't made any formal announcement yet. Initially it's a "PR" move, or a potential nightmare in the making. They'll never ship the chips inside the vehicles due to the tremendous theft potential. They'll have to deal with the logistics of identifying the vehicles that can be shipped and shipping the corresponding chips required and associated to the corresponding VIN number. And the odds are that Ford will reimburse dealerships for less than the required time or expense to install chips at the dealership level. We'll just have to see how this plays out. Further adventures to follow!
  5. If your vehicle is scheduled for production next week it's locked in at this point and will be built with the specifications ordered. The scheduling hold for Adaptive Steering applies to unscheduled orders as of the date the hold was announced by Ford.
  6. Ford doesn't provide any information on why scheduled production weeks are pushed back to a later date. What's been happening with Super Duty scheduled dates being pushed back isn't normal but this isn't a normal year thanks to the microchip situation, supplier issues and other factors.
  7. If the regional office re-prioritizes your order at "01", which only the regional office can do it'll be a best-case scenario. An "01" priority code pushes the order for expedited scheduling and forces the system to make every effort to make an exception for any commodity restraints so that the order can be scheduled ASAP.
  8. The Production Week Scheduling Information for next week has been posted. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/65125-production-week-scheduling-information/&page=31&tab=comments#comment-1139493 There is no 2022 Super Duty scheduling for next week, the week of July 19th.
  9. SCHEDULING TOOLBOX - SCHEDULING PLAN This is the tentative scheduling plan for the production period. This is just a guide for scheduling. This information is tentative and may change at any time. THIS INFORMATION APPLIES TO UNSCHEDULED ORDERS ONLY. Blue Oval Forums_Production Week Scheduling_2021-07-19.pdf
  10. No. 2022 Super Duty orders that would have been scheduled yesterday should have an assigned production/build week for 08/23/2021. You're making this more difficult than it is! The column header is "Scheduling Build Week(s)" meaning those are the production/build weeks that are assigned for vehicles scheduled yesterday. Hope this helps!
  11. The dates in the Production Week Scheduling Information charts are the production weeks that should be assigned for orders scheduled during that scheduling week/period. The information comes directly from Ford and is usually very reliable but with the microchip situation and other factors affecting plant schedules this year, some vehicles are being scheduled with later dates.
  12. Don't hesitate to make your Dealer provide you with the information you require... it's their job! Two-Tone paint is rarely, if ever, an issue but the Tremor Package has been in high demand. There are two sources here with scheduling information. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/65125-production-week-scheduling-information/&page=30 https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/70846-ford-weekly-scheduling-notes/&page=3
  13. The WBDO (Web Based Dealer Ordering) system defaults to priority code 19 for retail orders requiring Dealers to change it manually. It's a very simple process but assigning a priority code of "10" or anything lower than "19" may depend on the dealership's policy, dealership sales volume and the number of other Super Duty orders placed before yours.
  14. It should never be that difficult to get information on a retail order from your Dealer. Your Dealer has 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility system which provides the complete order, scheduling, production and shipping information and all status updates. No stock or retail orders are scheduled "24 weeks out" which only applies to certain fleet orders or vehicles produced at foreign plants for the North American market such as EcoSport and Transit Connect. There are a number of factors that can impact the timing for scheduling retail orders including Dealer allocation and commodity restrictions. I'm hoping to update the scheduling process information soon but the basic information is still valid. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/63667-ford-vehicle-ordering-scheduling-process/
  15. The following updated order guides are now available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section. 2022 Super Duty Pick-Up Order Guide 2022 Super Duty Pick-Up Order Guide (Canada) 2022 Lincoln Aviator Order Guide (Canada)
  16. The Medium Light Camel trim is no longer available on the XLT's. The complete specifications are in the 2022 Super Duty Pickup Order Guide which is available for download at the Dealer Order Guides section. https://blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/files/category/8-f-series-super-duty/
  17. You can't have a VIN number and not be scheduled. The VIN numbers are generated at the time the order is scheduled. The only exception is orders scheduled for export and some models produced in foreign plants for the North American market. The customer tracking at Ford.com provides basic information but is not updated on a timely basis. For the latest information, contact your Dealer that has 24/7 access to the Vehicle Visibility system that provides all order, scheduling, production and shipping updates.
  18. No. You cannot delete content that is standard equipment.
  19. The LED Roof Marker/Clearance Lights (592) are standard on Chassis Cab, F-350 DRW & F-450 models, optional on other Super Duty pickup models.
  20. Commodity restrictions listed as "Until further notice" tend to be longer term. Not knowing the specific reason for the hold, a 1-2 month minimum wouldn't be surprising. Subject to change, without notice!
  21. There are a number of factors involved including the model, scheduling allocation, commodity restraints, etc. Scheduling information is available in the Production Week Scheduling Information and Weekly Scheduling Notes threads and other forums/threads here at BOF.
  22. It means that unused allocation, for orders not already previewing as selected for scheduling, will roll over to the next week.
  23. Fleet scheduling is a totally separate process and not similar to retail scheduling at all. If a 2022 Super Duty is scheduled it must have a VIN number that was assigned at the same time it was scheduled. It doesn't make sense that Ford Fleet could tell you the order was scheduled but not know the VIN number. In addition, the FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) lists the Order-to-Delivery time for a 2022 Super Duty as 30+ weeks.
  24. It's usually a week but with everything going on with scheduling and production issues these days I wouldn't count on it.
