  1. Looks too generic now, especially the frontend. It lost the details that made it special. It doesn't look "Lincoln". Since I'll never see one in person, I doubt they care about my opinion.
  2. It's actually pretty big. Almost directly the size of the Mustang Mach E which seems to be considered a CUV. The styling really throws the size off.
  3. I wonder how much it hurt to add the bumper and bed steps. I think the truck looks fantastic and a nice evolution of the classic design it has had for quite some time.
  4. I have not looked any further, but I believe you are right. I may have jumped the gun on that (well, the person I copied it from that tweeted it jumped the gun perhaps ?)
  5. Lower models don't have the two screens connected. Kind of a weird thing to do (and uggo).
  6. After watching the live reveal I actually like it. I wish they didn’t let the massive screen dictate the design of the dashboard as it looks a bit generic now without the heritage cues. But otherwise the overall design of the car seems like a decent reskin. I think it will look better in person, much like pretty much every previous Mustang update.
  7. Everything I have read indicated my '07 4.6L 3 valve had the two-piece plugs. Thanks. Either way, I don't have to worry about it!
  8. Update on this: I reached out to the dealership that had provided the service and they were able to email a record of the service performed on the vehicle at their dealership. It had a new engine installed only 17k miles ago (don't need to worry about those damn 2 piece spark plugs lol). It also has a new alternator, starter, BCM, fuel pump, ignition coils, battery and blend door actuator within the last couple of years. Score!
  9. Hey all, I recently bought a used Sport Trac and believe it or not, the Ford Pass app let me add the vehicle even though it is 15 years old.. and it does in fact show the "generalized" service history (does not go into detail) going back to 2007. There's 40 records! Is there a way to obtain the detailed service history of a vehicle? Specifically I just want to know if it ever had the spark plugs changed (it is the infamous 4.6L 3V known for breaking spark plugs off in the head). With its mileage, I'd like to change them if they are still originals. Example of the basic info I'm seeing in the Ford Pass app: Thanks!
  10. That interior looks really nice. I can't believe GM has done a complete 180 on their interiors as of late, they were previously bottom tier.
  11. I'm a Ford fanboy and I couldn't pick either headlight design out of a lineup (then again, I have not owned a Mustang since the Fox body days). Just reading through this thread and seeing the pictures, I can see the differences in the designs, but can't remember which is what year unless someone tells me. So while people may have their preferences, 95% of the public doesn't know the difference and won't hold whatever headlights you have against you. ?
  12. My wife is on her 2nd. They are the absolute perfect size for 1-2 children families. Love ours!
  13. The R1T cabin seems very sterile compared to the Lightning, but I think Ford should move to a landscape screen for the next generation.
  14. Article with lots of pics: https://www.carscoops.com/2022/07/2023-chevrolet-colorado-grows-up-techs-out-and-goes-turbo/ B-Roll: A few pics:
  15. Thanks fuzzy! That's what I've heard; not too hard but will involve the help of a large hammer.
  16. Thanks @HotRunrGuy I completely forgot about that. Here are the additions that the Limited got over the XLT (oddly, I don't believe mine has a power sliding rear window, perhaps that was a late addition as it isn't listed on the window sticker either? It does have everything else).
  17. Drives great! But man this is what they considered a Limited in 2007? LOL! it literally just has power locks and windows. I’ll take some pictures after I’ve gone over it with a clay bar and polish.
  18. Well I bought it. What a cream puff, not even a door ding. Interior looks new and still has the factory Berber floor mats. But, it is in desperate need of wheel bearings. First thoughts is it is about 15% larger inside than my 2019 Ranger was. THIS is how big the Ranger interior should have been. Rear legroom and overall width seem a few inches larger. Very comfy!
  19. I recently sold my 2019 Ranger because I didn't use it very often (and it was worth a ridiculous amount of money in today's environment). I'm looking to replace it with something much cheaper but in the same vein just so I have something to drive on the weekends and can fit some random stuff from Home Depot in the bed. I came across a 2007 Sport Trac w/ the 4.6L. V8. It has 107k miles and looks pretty clean and relatively promising (clean carfax, etc...). Edit: I have not seen it in person yet. Anything to look for on second gen Sport Tracs? Avoid certain years or engines? Are higher mileage examples something to avoid? Thanks much!
  20. So, I have been on permanent work from home for the past 2 years and have only put maybe 6-7k miles on my Ranger in that amount of time. Rather than have that fat wad of cash sit in my driveway collecting dust, I decided to take advantage of the (slowly down turning) peak of inflated car prices and sell it. The Ranger was going on 4 years old. I paid around $38k for it in January of 2019 and it had a total of 32k miles on it. CarMax gave me $33k (Carvana offered a little less). So for $5k, I got an awesome new truck for almost 4 years. The wife (who also works from home) and I will share her Edge for a while until car prices come down to a somewhat reasonable level, (even if it takes a while unless I come across a good deal). Then I'll buy a used something or other for my little jaunts to Home Depot (the only thing I really used my Ranger for in the past couple of years). I really don't have much use for an extra vehicle (let alone a new one) right now. The Ranger was a 9/10. Out of the 40+ vehicles I've owned, it was definitely in the top 5.
  21. Once they make a Ranger-sized pickup I will!
