    2019 Mustang Production Information

Okay I found out that my car was already built in December and left the plant on January 14th. So I guess I'm one of the lucky guys.
  2. Hi, due to the part shortage at flat rock plant, I'd like to know if my car has already been built. Blend date was February 1st. Would be nice to know if and when it's been built. VIN: 1FA6P8CF6K5145592 Thank you!

    2019 Mustang Production Information

No matter if it's related to the strike, fact is that they are missingπŸ˜… Problem is that ford is apparently depending on one supplier. If there's no other one, we just have to wait.

    2019 Mustang Production Information

Okay I hope they don't run out of storage space, pulled it up on google maps There are a few pretty large parking lots right next to the plant. I follow the news about the strike in matamoros, but it's not quite sure what's actually happening there right now. Some are working some are not. Some will apparently get 20% more, others now want that, too. Big mess. The german dealers don't know anything about that...

    2019 Mustang Production Information

I follow the news about the strike in matamoros. Doesn't look that good for us. Work's still not continuing in a lot of factories down there. Maybe Ford is already a step further in autonomous driving, doesn't need a steering wheel for that πŸ˜…

    Hello from Germany

Hi Rainer, I'm working at a VW plant, I thought Volkswagen can't be the only one, who's absolutely depending on a single supplier. We're building engines at our plant ( 3 to 16 cylinder), often have the same problems. Parts like injection valves, turbochargers are bought from external suppliers, if they have a problem our lines stand still.

    2019 Mustang Production Information

I think he's talking about the production. A few posts before "It's not going to last long", he said: Yes, they are back to work; and this is not going to last long. Sure they're working, but I think, still with those dummy steering wheels. I don' know much about the processes at ford, but I work for a German carmaker. If there's an issue like this, the cars will be "fixed" according to the actual production order.

    2019 Mustang Production Information

Right I ordered on October 1st, estimated delivery time was 7-8 month (last week in april). Blend date is Feb. 1st, last working shift was on 01/18, if they got back to work this Monday (still not installing the actual steering wheels) it will take 4 weeks longer, minimum.

    2019 Mustang Production Information

You said they're building 400 cars per shift. Is this full capacity or could it be more? How many shifts per week? I guess it will take quiet a while to install all the missing steering wheels.

    Hello everyone from overseas

Hi, my name is Manuel and I'm from Germany. I ordered a 2019 Mustang GT in October 2018 which will be delivered this April. I already own a 1965 Mustang A-Code, I got it from a couple in Minnesota in December 2016.

    Hello everyone from overseas

Oh okay, was my first time driving in the US. I actually took the long island expy, just looked it up First time driving in the US I didn't want to risk a ticket for speeding πŸ˜‚ But it was a great experience, though. I'm tired of all those small cars on German roads. I have never seen so much mustangs in so few weeks 😍 Heaven on earth!

    Hello everyone from overseas

Last September I spent a few weeks in nyc, me and my girlfriend wanted to visit the hamptons and took the highway from Brooklyn to Riverhead. If you're used to drive as fast as you can it's pretty annoying to be limited to 65 miles πŸ˜€ Average speed on German Autobahn is 80 mph. Really can't wait to take the Stang for a ride😁

    Mustang Through the Years

Hi, I like the idea of sharing some experiences with the mustang. I'm from Germany and I bought my first mustang in December 2016. I got it from Minnesota and a friend from a german mustang forum organized the whole shipment. It's a 1965 289 V8 (A-Code) manual transmission in tropical turquoise. Got it with 90k miles, also stored in winter, only nice weather. Due to some federal regulations I had to change a few things like installing hazards, EU-spec headlights. Amazing how good it runs after nearly 54 years. At the moment I'm waiting for my 2019 Mustang GT to be delivered, I ordered it in October 2018. Hopefully should arrive at my local ford store this April, but due to some parts shortage at the flat rock plant it could be delayed.

    2019 Mustang Production Information

Hi guys, I can already see the windowsticker for my 2019 EU-Spec Mustang. Blend date is Feb 1st 2019. Due to the downtime at the plant, will there be any correction of the date on my windowsticker? Since I'm from germany I'm not quiet sure, if there can be any changes at the windowsticker. Thanks for your help!
