  1. Will do. Maybe it's a sign the money gods are telling me not to spend. Thanks for your help. They journey continues.
  2. Too bad. Hoping they had an 800 number to call to plead your case! Ford's website just has a page to download brochures. Can't seem to find where to request a brochure by mail again.
  3. Has anyone had any success in getting a private cash offer from Ford extended past it's expiration date. I have one that expired on April 1. Because of the dealer selling the vehicle that we had come to terms on to someone else the day before I had scheduled to come into the dealership to sign the papers I couldn't use it in time. Scrambled all weekend to try to find one but dealers were unsuccessful as the only one around had been put aside for the dealer's owner as his demo vehicle. I found another exact one out of state on April 2, but dealer said he checked with Ford and it was not longer valid. Any suggestions?
  4. Thanks, akirby. Now to find one at the right price!
  5. Hoping someone here may be able to tell me if there is a difference in any features between these two configurations other than the wheels being polished aluminum on the first and painted on the second one. 1. Limited with 302A , cargo package and HD trailer tow 2. Limited with 301A and Special Edition package As far as I can tell from the order manual you get the exact same vehicle on no. 2 other than the wheels but at a much lower cost. Dealer wasn't much help in finding any difference other than to say Ford sometimes puts together packages that are much cheaper. In this case several thousand. Any help appreciated.
  6. Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I find a good amount of information from salespeople is inaccurate.
  7. I saw a 2018 Lincoln Navigatorwith less than 10,000 miles advertised by a Ford dealer. When I asked if it was a CPO vehicle and would the warranty transfer the sales person replied they were no longer a Lincoln dealer and no warranty came with the car. Sales person said I couild buy a warranty but when I emailed back for details I got no response. Is this correct that a used vehicle offered by a Ford dealer no longer carries the original warranty that would still be in effect. Warranty will not transfer? Thanks for help
  8. Thanks. Any chance they are just beginning to install. I did a search and on Road/Show by Cnet it shows HUD as a feature on the Platinum. I see it on several dealer postings, but no one can tell me they actually sat in the vehicle and turned it on. Not sure if there is someone at Ford to contact. Dealers are not helpful.
  9. Can anyone confirm that Ford is adding the Heads Up Display to the 2019 Platinum. I've seen several dealers list it as a feature on their website, but I have yet to talk with any sales person directly that can actually confirm this. They all don't know off the top of their head.
