Long time follower. First time poster Tesla’s phenomenal success is going to breed it’s own problems. A $412b company (2x AT&T) in tight fiscal times is going to be facing a lot of questions as to why it and it’s (generally affluent) customers deserve preferential access (HOV, no fuel taxes, tax credits/transfers). It’s one thing to help a scrappy startup to get a leg up - but the 10th most valuable company in America?
