  1. The smell may be from fluid that leaked. If that is the case, it will go away over time.
  2. We had this issue 20+ years ago that did $6500 of damage in our garage. We had our house sealed to keep rodents out. We trimmed our shrubs away from the house. We keep loaded rat traps in our garage and attic. We usually catch 1 rat every 2 years. We haven't had a problem since.
  3. You need a hitch ball and end that goes into the receiver. Hitch balls come in different sizes, you need the proper size. The electric should plug in without a problem. Make sure you know how to back the trailer. That can be tricky.
  4. It is a "full size" spare that is compatible, but it is not identical. it does not have the speed restrictions of temporary spares.
  5. I ordered an F150 in 1/1/2020. it arrived last week because of the chip shortage. it should have taken 6-8 weeks.
  6. I have a 2019 Navigator with the same issue. I tell the system to check for updates and the check always fails. I brought to the dealer and they said to update with a USB drive. Yes this works, but it should be able to check for updates wirelessly as designed.
  7. I bought a 2019. I did not realize 2018 was different.
  8. All versions of the Navigator can be ordered with middle row bench. I order one. It took 6 weeks from order to delivery.
  9. I have a short Navigator. I did not like how the shelf operated to access the underfloor storage. I thought the standard door worked better. I did not order it on my Navigator and am happy with my decision. You can compare vehicles at the dealership with and without this option to see which you prefer. You may have to go to a lower trim Expedition to find a vehicle without the feature. The dealers I went to ordered this on all of their stock Navigators. When I compared a vehicle with and without it, I decided not to order that option. I did order Lincoln's all weather mats. That was a mistake, the aftermarket mats are better.
  10. I added a mesh WiFi tower right next to my SUV. Probably 5' from the front of the vehicle.
  11. I like your logic. I am happy with the factory current version 3.xxx, so why risk a problem? I wish the system would check for updates via WiFi, however. It fails every time. I will put it on the list next time I go in for service.
  12. Will Sync 3 ever be able to be updated to 3.3 or 3.4 from the factory? I have read the posts about updating and am concerned about messing it up, getting the correct update, etc. Not sure if I will benefit from 3.3/3.4 or not.
  13. According to the website, I have the latest Sync version. I see a lot of posts about Sync 3.4. Apparently, I do not have the option of upgrading to that version on the Lincoln website.
  14. My maps are updated using the USB no problem. My Sync software does not update. I do have a WiFi mesh tower next to the vehicle to improve the signal, but every time I check for updates, the check fails. I am not sure how to update the sync software.
