  1. My VANISH Roll-up Cover made by Agri-cover, Inc, rolls up to about a 6" roll that barely overhangs the front bed rail. Sturdy also after 4 1/2 years and removed every summer to load my slide-in truck camper.
  2. I have changed the oil 3 times also on my 2019 6.2l gas F350 dually. Never a hint of an oil leak.. Never measured torque. I suspect your leak is not torque related. Gasket or accidental damage?
  3. Step1: Pick a cab size; regular, super or crew. Step2: 250 or 350? Gasser? You are only showing the 350s, so I assume you are leaning that way. Step3: SRW, 4x4? Step 4: long or short bed. Step 5:GVWR. look for GVWR pkg with payload 0f 3200 lbs or more. Might shoot for something a little higher for crew cab if you often have passengers. Example: Crew cab, f350, SRW, 4x4, long bed. The GVWR pkg of 10900 lbs (probably a gas engine) has payload capacity of 3890 lbs. Hope this helps.
  4. I don't have a yes or no answer. Since Ford has not made any significant changes thru these years, I would think they fit.
  5. It happened to me while camping this summer with my large Lance truck camper in the bed in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. At first I thought it was from our movement inside the camper as it only alarmed once that evening. Second night, different site, it went off twice so I disabled it. Third and forth night, I went to perimeter setting. Now home for two months camping along the way and it has never happened again. I wonder if it was a large moth or something that caused motion to be detected motion inside the cab. Puzzlement...
  6. From other online trucks for sale, I'd say it should be worth it. Looks to be well taken care of. I have the 2019 version of the 6.2 l engine, 6 speed automatic and the 3.73 rear end on my f350 dually which I only use with my heavy truck camper. It performs great. I just never try to be in a real hurry to get anywhere. Rick
  7. My 6.2l manual says never use anything less that 87 octane. Quote: Some fuel stations, particularly those in high altitude areas, offer fuels posted as regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating below 87. The use of these fuels could result in engine damage that will not be covered by the vehicle warranty.
  8. You are the customer. If your dealer finds it offensive for you to buy off of the lot at MSRP, where is the relationship?
  9. Mine only let the seat fold up. From my 2019 owners manual::
  10. My small town dealer in 2018 had little experience with Super Duty orders. I ordered a 2018 in late April and a month later, I was asked if I would accept a 2019. It turned out that orders for 2018 Super Dutys were closed off in March 2018. I was lucky that there were no part shortages back then. Still, it set back my build date almost a month. I got my truck in August, 3 days before I had to leave on a long-planned trip. Small dealerships just cannot be detail order experts across the broad line of vehicles offered by Ford.
  11. 2019 F350 Crew Cab Long Bed Dually In New Mexico, $115 per year, two year option Extrapolating, it will be $460 for 4 years if nothing changes. NJ not that far out of line...
  12. I have a 5000# truck camper in my 2019 F350 and it squats about 1 1/2". I have the 14000# package. In this long bed, crew cab, dually truck, I simply don't notice the difference while driving vs empty bed. Rick
  13. I lost mine on my 19 F350 Dually in the first. month. The dealer installs them and the lower level techs often don't get all off them installed correctly.. Of course, other causes are possible. Rick
  14. My Tan WeatherTech floor mats do NOT have a Ford Emblem. I get so much dirt and mud on the driver floor that I don't care.
  15. My 2019 6.2l has done this from day 1. When I asked about it when the truck was new, the mechanic said " it is normal, get used to it." It is present when I am needing more power and the RPM climbs. I am used to it, but I notice it nevertheless.
  16. My dealer was required to install new flaps upon delivery of my new dually. They have the dealer's Logo, of course. They work fine. If you are thinking replacements, I ordered off the internet to replace failing flaps on a previous truck. Lot of choices but I don't remember what brand I bought.
  17. My 2019 F350 CC Long Bed Dually 6.2l gasser came with a 3" hitch size. I got the 14000# load option. That may make a difference.
  18. Yes, it happened to me in 2018. Since model changes are minor most years, it should have little effect on your order. The order backlog is normal every year. Production is usually shut down in June for the change over and you should have yours go down the line in July, soon after the line starts up again. That assumes the chip shortage this year gets fixed soon. On the bright side, your model is gonna carry the 2022 designation. Rick
  19. It is the Computer Chip shortage. In the past, the new model line started up just after the 4th of July. With the line shut down, the current 2021 orders are not being fulfilled. The backlog will cause unknown problems...
  20. When I ordered my 2019 F350, I got an inquiry from the plant: Did I want the 14000# package instead of the 13000# package at no extra cost. Of course, I said YES Rick
  21. Are you looking at a current F550 vs your 1999 SD? Not clear in your question.
  22. My 2019 F350 Crew Cab Dually only had the dummy connectors for the two wire bundles that are from my tailgate. Fancier models with cameras everywhere, etc. and more wire bundles may require more dummy connectors. They just keep water and dirt out of the truck-side connector. Actually water gets in wire side of the truck connectors no matter what is connected but that is another story. Rick
  23. My 6.2L with the 3.73 rear end has a 6 speed tranny as ordered by me. My calculations showed that 6th gear with the 4.30 was almost exactly the same as 5th with the 3.73. So the 4.30 was just lacking a slightly better combo for easy hauls. With the new 10 speed trannys, I suspect there is even more reason not to get the 4.30. No one can only haul uphill all the time.
  24. After it is built, It would be about 2-3 weeks depending upon your distance from the factory. Time before build will vary depending upon the order backload. Best guess 3-4 weeks...
