  1. Also it's a business lease and I don't know if I want to fool with my insurance, but will look into it.
  2. Next question: How special is the factory glass? I know it's RFID, Soundscreen, etc. Should I buy a replacement from Lincoln or 3rd party would be acceptable? Wonder if they even have it templated yet.
  3. That's certainly part of the issue, I agree. Next day, picked up a pinhead sized chip in my GTR. That rock hit really hard and I was surprised it didn't do more damage. That one really made me sick.
  4. Would like to get your feedback here. I've got 2,700 miles on my Navigator and have two decent sized chips in my windshield. The first one was no bigger than a pebble and I never even saw the second stone hit, just heard it, looked over and there was a huge chip. That one may actually too big to epoxy fill. Priced a new windshield from Ford and it's a hair under a grand. Is there something going on with Ford's glass manufacturer? I have a Sierra 2500 that has taken many shots to the windshield and never chipped once.
  5. Lincoln Concierge picked up the Navigator yesterday. He was a contractor working for the dealership. Got a MKZ that reeks of smoke. The American luxury brands just don't hold a candle to MB, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Ranger Rover etc. for customer experience. Back in the day I dropped my CTS-V Wagon off at the dealership and got an broke down Impala with about 50,000 miles. That would NEVER happen at BMW dropping of an M3....
  6. Another update. Had a custom car stereo installer friend of mine evaluate the radio. Not blown and nothing wrong. The song I mentioned Starboy has something in it that makes the tweeter buzz, but doesn't on other songs so all is good. Again, this is at high volume 18-20+. I know I said 12 before but I realized it's really higher. So now Navi getting picked up for door trim and mirror gremlin. The mirror issue is that when I press my memory button from my wife's settings, the driver side mirror doesn't know what to do. It just adjusts up or out, hits the stops and pops continously. The only way to make it stop is to adjust the mirror manually and then goes to its memory position. Anyone else?
  7. Update. I now have a piece of the chrome trim on the rear passenger door coming off. So I have them looking at the speaker, mirror gremlin and now the chrome trim piece. Another HUGE bummer is I got a rock chip in the windshield last weekend. Totally sucks and it's kinda in my field of view too. Anyway, jump on the Lincoln Way app yesterday and made the pick up appointment. Super easy to do. Made the appointment for Friday at 11:00 a.m. So,I get a call this morning that the dealer can't come any earlier than next Tuesday. So it looks like the Lincoln Way app scheduling isn't linked to the actual dealer's calendar.
  8. I'm with you and don't feel like I have unrealistic expectations here. I was in high school in the bass heavy 90s and outfitted several cars with stereo, subs, sound deadening, etc. That's why I was using the Jeep SRT as a reference as these vehicles are of similar build quality with similar sound systems. The tracks that produce the rattles are bass heavy, admittedly. I've got the worst of the rattle / buzz narrowed down to the passenger side door speaker and it actually sounds like it could be blown, but that would surprise me. If anyone is interested, the intro to The Weeknd's song Starboy is a track that produces a significant amount of the rattle / buzz. Volume 10-12 and it's really noticeable. I know it's loud I'm going to have the dealer look at it soon. My passenger side mirror also has a gremlin in it. All that being said, I love the vehicle. I've already commented to my wife that there is no way the retractable steps make it the entire 39 month lease. We have two boys, 8 years old and 5 years old and the number of times a door is opened, closed, opened, closed, with steps going in and out is shocking. You don't realize how many times doors are open and shut until you see those steps in a full jazzercise routine all day.
  9. Haven't mentioned it to the dealer yet. Wanted to get some input here first.
  10. I've had the Navigator about a week and really love it. The few times I've been driving without the family, I've been testing the Revel Ultima system. On some bass heavy tracks at decent volume, I've noticed significant panel vibrations and rattles from the passenger door and in the rear cargo area. I've put my hand on the panel in the rear where the sub is and can make it stop when pushing the panel in, but it's back as soon as I move my hand. Anyone else have this issue? As another reference point, I've got a Jeep SRT with the 19 speaker HK system and it's just as good as the Revel with not a hint of rattle with the same tracks at the same volume.
  11. Rhapsody Blue L. More pics to follow.
  12. I actually wanted the second row console, but would have ordered the black label if they let me get the Destination theme with Rhapsody Blue exterior. I don't understand why the manufacturer restricts such things. You look at other luxury brands and you can order almost anything.
  13. Thanks very much. I'll post picks when I get it. Blue Rapsody with Black Interior.
  14. Hey everyone. My Navigator L Reserve is on order. This will be my first Ford / Lincoln vehicle ever. I have been trying to track my VIN like many of you with no luck. My VIN in ETIS also says it's a 2012 Fiesta with a V6. That does sound like a quick little car. My dealer said production is scheduled for the week of April 3rd but has been radio silence since then. Would fuzzymoomoo or another insider mind running the VIN? It's 5LMJJ3LT9JEL09813 Thanks much and I'm looking forward to delivery! I'm trading in a 2017 Nissan Armada which is one of the worst new vehicles I've ever owned.
