  1. I took the reboot option first: It would not destroy all my destination information and that seemed like the best way to go first. Disconnected the battery, waited about 15 minutes and reconnected. Then I drove around for awhile with a destination set. All seems to work perfectly now -- the red arrow/triangle stays right where I am on the map and does not get over to side streets several blocks away from my actual location, as it had been doing. Should it fail again, I'll go the the Master Resent option. Thanks for both of you for your assistance. Bill
  2. After about 4 years of flawless performance, my Ford Fusion navigation is getting lost. The arrow of where I am deviates from the road by several blocks to the right or left of my actual path and usually or one or so blocks behind my actual location. If the navigation system is trying to give me directions to a known location, the system tries to get me back on the correct road -- the one I am actually on. This makes for very confusing directions that must be ignored. What can be done? Some time ago I had an electronics problem and the Service department told me to disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and then reconnect it. That fixed the system then; should I try the same now? Bill27@me.com
