  1. what a shame. It seems that the concerns of YouTube commentators about the reliability of the Lincoln are proving to be true.
  2. With the amount of money spent and lost investing in Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo, it would give Ford to invest and make LINCOLN a brand as competitive as Lexus since the 90 years.
  3. Because Aviator is the second Lincoln completely redesigned after Navigator, it has reasonable sales, . Navigator does not seem to maintain a pace of growth to reach Escalade. Nautilus has very good sales and solid growth. The best of expectations are with Corsair to me.
  4. With Corsair's arrival, Lincoln's portfolio is finally complete.
  5. Overall, positive opinions on internal space, quality of materials, technology and design. I think Corsair has the best exterior design of all the Lincolns and it has the highest sales potential. I hope Lincoln promotes it.
  6. I just hope Mach-E and baby Bronco don't have finish quality issues like pre-production Aviator and Explorer
  7. Ford Motor Company of Germany achieved a new record August sales mark with 22,713 vehicles delivered last month, per the German Federal Motor Transport Authority. This was up 27.5 percent year-over-year from August 2018 and good for Ford’s best passenger vehicle sales tally for August since 1996. In contrast, the German new car market fell 0.8 percent for the month. “The best car sales in an August in 23 years, Ford’s highest value ever for commercial vehicles — that’s fantastic news for us. We are particularly proud that we are achieving this historic growth in Germany in a very tense environment,” said Hans Jörg Klein, managing director of Marketing and Sales, Ford of Germany. One of Ford’s Biggest Names: The 2019 Ford Mustang keeps its rep as the world-beater of performance coupes Ford scored a 7.2 percent passenger car market share in August, up 1.6 percentage points from 2018. Passenger and commercial vehicle sales totaled 28,247 units combined, also setting an August sales record. Through eight months, Ford has delivered 192,471 vehicles in Germany, up 10.4 percent from its pace through the first two thirds of 2018. This too significantly outpaces growth for the German new car market, which is up just 0.9 percent through the first eight months of 2019. Ford’s commercial vehicle sales total 37,173 through eight months, up 15.9 percent year-over-year. Leading the way over this span for Ford is the Mustang, which maintains its standing with performance enthusiasts and saw sales rise 66.2 percent through August. Also up for Ford are the Tourneo Connect and Ford S-Max, which have seen sales increase 63.2 percent and 58.9 percent, respectively. https://thenewswheel.com/ford-germany-august-2019-sales/
  8. Ford does not need to have two factories in Brazil and India, since the volume is small. Camaçari is important, because there Ford exports to all South America markets. It is important for Ford to make a partnership as GM did with the Chinese SAIC, which resulted in the GEM platform, but with Mahindra. I just hope it's a partnership, not just Mahindras with Ford's logo.

  10. i liked it too much. Do you have any information about that platform?
  11. Transit, Nautilus and Expedition have impressive figures. Expedition's design is the best in the entire Ford portfolio and should inspire other crossovers. Awaiting the Aviator take flight and show its potential. Nautilus is still restyled, when it comes with the interior as the Aviator could reach 4K. Corsair should also properly replace the MKC
  12. What stings Lincoln is the Ford Association, either by using Ford platforms or by being both under the same roof.
  13. That's a crossover coupé. Don't expect a traditional boxy style SUV like Range Rover. The Mach 1 will be more X6M looking
  14. Expedition is a big hit. MKZ has been doing very well, and it would be better if it had a Nautilus 8-speed transmission . 400HP, 3.0TT and better transmission would make the MKZ very well ahead of the competition.
  15. But if it's a Maverick engine, I don't see any problem. I didn't know Ford still produced engines in Spain.
  16. I don't like Maverick for Baby Bronco's name. It's like naming a MPV, because Fusion was a MPV in the 00s in Europe. Maverick has a legacy as a coupé.
