  1. Complete disaster. The semiconductors shortages are killing Ford. What are Ford doing to solve it? The globalism is bad. If you depends on the Chinese production of something , can occur this disasters.
  2. In the video, In the video there is not a single idea that is worth the trouble. not even one. there is not a single design that is at the height of a brand like Lincoln. What's more, I am surprised by the poor quality of the designs shown, how unprofessional and how terribly ugly all the designs shown are. The worst is the one that looks like a locomotive with the vertical double grill, like the one used until very recently by Lincoln. terrible. Could it be that what was really valuable was hidden or reserved? If this is the level of car design in the new generations, very bad times are coming for the auto industry
  3. Talking about the thread topic: Why Lincoln NEED a Bronco? To fight Land Rover. Quit Luxury for outdoors? There are the Land Rover Discovery or Defender or Range Rover Sport , with a selling price from 50 to 100 K $. Why Lincoln will pass of this profitable market, having the best 4x4 off road vehicle in the corporate house, the Bronco? Can’t you imagine a truck as luxurious and “quiet” as the Navigator, but with extreme off road capabilities as the Bronco? I can do it.
  4. The idea of the “Lincoln Bronco” is something like the Land Rover Range Rover Sport or Land Rover Defender. Those are luxury adventurer vehicles, with a good 4x4 and off road capabilities. When Lincoln launched the Navigator, everybody said that the Lincoln customers will not buy that truck. Maybe a new segment for Lincoln could be a good idea.
  5. I had a long time that I did not see the coincidence of all the media that cover motorsport unanimously and enthusiastically praising a new car like this happening with the new Ford Bronco. Even the media that regularly oppose Ford products say this product is perfect. There are practically no negative points, everything is praise: the design, the engineering, the off-road and on-road behavior, the flexibility, the possibility of individualization, the quality and the refinement. This car is going to be a total hit. It seems to me that Ford still does not know the gigantic success that it has in hand and it is a pity that if production is so delayed, so limited and so rugged (there are still no hard tops available, until September !!!). Ford should consider activating another assembly plant to meet demand. On the other hand, and seeing the irrefutable success of this car, what if we think of a Lincoln version? ... the same basic design, some different exterior panels, a new interior and all the luxury and quality that allow it to compete with Land Rover , both the Defender line and the Range Rover. It would be the first 4x4 and off road auto from Lincoln. A true competitor for the Land Rover Defender. This car could be sold at a high price, around $ 100,000.
  6. The Tesla “bubble” is near end. With real competition, the customers will understand that Tesla is not as good as it looks… The Mach E is an amazing product that easily win over the Model Y (a horrible and ridiculous mix between a SUV and minivan). The F150 Lightning will be a hard beat for Tesla, that only have a stupid cartoonishly and useless prototype of truck. And more is coming: the Explorer/Aviator EV!
  7. The Thunderbird return will occur with an electric vehicle. An electric super coupe to compete with the Corvette? I think the cars quote in the Ford line up are covered with the Mustang coupe and convertible and the special version of them. The Thunderbird name could return as an EV crossover, maybe a coupe crossover.
  8. No. No sedans for USA. Maybe one of the four EVs will be a sedan, but only for China.
  9. This is for China only. No USA, no Europe. Is the Evos sedan (Mondeo?) or , maybe, the Taurus replacement.
  10. Car and Driver being Car and Driver. No matter how good is a Ford vehicle. No matter how good is a Ford feature in their vehicles. Car and Driver say that is not enough good for them. Ford designed the 1st electric truck that cover the traditional truck buyer needs and much more. With revolutionary features and capabilities. A truck that will put the EV at the center of the American market. But a Car and Driver guy think Ford missed the opportunity to made a race track ready truck, with low suspension and 0 to 60 in 2 sec. Maybe Ford will make in the near future a sport truck based on the Lightning to please Car and Driver. But now, the news are this truck. The first electric truck for the masses. But that is not enough for Car and Driver and their biased journalists.
  11. This truck is a real revolutionary truck, for real life. A different kind of beast than the Tesla’s Cyber-Joke. The range, the capabilities, the price, that gigantic and innovative frunk, made this truck a revolution. I can imagine everybody at GM design department running to the drawing board to redone the Silverado EV!
  12. Is the screen of a big truck (you can see the picture of the vehicle at the top of the screen). Of course, the screen is large, very large. Is the Lightning interior.
  13. Is the screen of a big truck (you can see the picture of the vehicle at the top of the screen). Of course, the screen is large, very large. Is the Lightning interior.
  14. I think that we won’t see new vehicles from Ford beyond the Bronco family, Mach E, F series EV until the middle of the decade when a pair of midsize crossovers EVs will arrive (one Ford and One Lincoln) . The Ford line up in USA will be very irregular: no sedans, no midsize crossover/SUV, no coupe crossover (all automakers have at least one), no minivan.
  15. Oh! Is a sedan! Seeing it with people aside, I can see is a sedan!
  16. Is this vehicle related with the Zephyr concept? Looks like the same sedan/coupe/wagon on stilts . When I saw both cars I remembered the AMC Eagle. Those cars are sedans, coupes and wagons with AWD and high ride... the new Ford and the new Lincoln looks exactly like those AMCs. The Evos is attractive. I’m not sure about the six windows profile, but the rest of the car is very attractive. The interior is completely different from any car in the Ford line up. Is this interior only for China? Is the grill... similar as the Chinese Explorer exclusive grill, exclusive for the chinese model? This car will be available in USA? The rumors say not. For sure, this will be the Mondeo replacement in Europe.
  17. Is overdone in the details, maybe because is a concept car. I hope the production model loses the superfluos and inelegant lines and front scoops.. and that horrible grill.
  18. Is this a sedan? Looks more than a crossover... a “not-too-tall” crossover coupe.
  19. you mean Lincoln MKZ replacement? Is logical. The sedans are alive in China, and Lincoln needs the MKZ and the Continental there. In fact, the Taurus, the Escort, the Focus sedan , the Fusion, the Fiesta sedan are alive and are important part of the Ford line up there.
  20. I think is hybrid. The grille is for an ICE vehicle. Is lower than the Edge, maybe as tall as the Mach E ( not too tall at all). And the general style will have some Mach E cues.
  21. Thunderbird is a perfect name for a new electric luxury coupe crossover to replace the Edge. Some styling cues from the iconic car and you have a winner
  22. A lie from the altered diesel engines company... no surprises
