  2. I would like to see the 80 hours FORCED vacation in July be returned to the membership. That is MY VACATION TIME THEY ARE FORCING ME TO TAKE DURING SHUT DOWN. If they are shutting down for model change over then they should allow us to file for unemployment. I should be able to use those 80 hours when or IF i want to.

  5. I have said this before and I will say it again..... EVERY DRUG RECALLED BY THE FDA WAS ONCE APPROVED BY THE FDA. Once they get years of data on the vaccines will they be recalled? If they have negative side effects you cant sue the drug companies...Who will be held accountable? Your employer or government for trying to force you into taking it? Like Cal50 said. FDA Approval Process. It takes on average 12 years and over US$350 million to get a new drug from the laboratory onto the pharmacy shelf. Once a company develops a drug, it undergoes around three and a half years of laboratory testing, before an application is made to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to begin testing the drug in humans. They came up and tested these vaccines in less then 9 months !!!! What kind of short cuts did they take to achieve results?
  6. I am not afraid of getting a vaccine that has been Tested and done the PROPER way. Not some vaccine that was rushed thru. If any other drug had over 700,000 adverse side effects it would be pulled IMMEDIATELY ! Remember...EVERY drug RECALLED by the FDA was once APPROVED by the FDA. It took from 1933 to 1945 to approve the FLU vaccine and it was not widely used until 1960's. Yes I know times have changed and so has the so called science, but to develop a vaccine and say it safe after 1 year? ( Data released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed that between Dec. 14, 2020 and Sept. 24, 2021, a total of 752,803 adverse events following COVID vaccines were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The data included a total of 15,937 reports of deaths — an increase of 551 over the previous week. )
  7. Those have to do more with the environment and safety in the work place. The government cant dictate or discriminate workers against workers. If a certain group has to have the jab then EVERY worker should also be forced to be vaccinated. I am seriously trying to figure out with the 100 people number.....Why not every business? So you are telling me the small businesses cant spread the virus because they employee less then 100 ?
  8. You are correct in courts the mandatory vax in businesses when the BUSINESS decides to mandate it. We are talking about a whole different ball game... This is the FEDERAL government telling business how to operate or face a punishment. I am not sure how the courts would feel about the government telling businesses how to operate. We will see what happens. I have 3 years before I can retire. If they force me to get the jab then I will go with the Johnson and Johnson 1 shot. I may try to get a local attorney to draw up paperwork making FORD responsible for any long term side effects. They are forcing me to get the jab so they need to be held responsible. Yeah I know....Good luck getting anyone to sign it.

  11. This illegal mandate ( NOT LAW ) will be stuck down by the courts as soon as they try to implement it. Its called the 14th Amendment of the United States constitution. Equal protection clause. All rules, mandates, laws MUST be equal to every citizen of the United States. By making companies with more then 100 people force the vaccination they are in violation of the Equal protection clause. Look at it this way.....If you tell Jewish people they are MANDATED to get the vaccination, but other religions do NOT have to be vaccinated, that would be against the law. It is not being enforced equally between ALL religions. I really dont see how they can discriminate against people based on where they work. Also by trying to use OSHA they have to prove an IMMINENT threat to life to be able to use a workplace mandate. Since we are NO LONGER in a pandemic and have treatments and medications to treat the China Flu, I don't see how they can say we are in imminent danger.

  13. I got sub pay for that week. It was deposited on 4-5-2020, I did NOT get the extra $ 600.
  14. So what is the plan for Good Friday and Easter Monday if we are still off? How will that work with unemployment if we are paid for the holidays? Will they end up giving us SWW and holiday pay or will we have to claim earnings to unemployment? I havent had to claim unemployment in 23 years so this is all new to me.
  15. I never said that our hospitals would NOT be overwhelmed. I just stated they would NOT turn the elderly away and let them die like they are doing in Italy. They will try their best to help EVERYONE and not just send them home to die !
  16. There is NO way you can compare what is happening in Italy with anything that MAY happen in the USA. Italy is 100 % socialized medicine. They have told the hospitals to turn away anyone over 70 years old and basically let them die. We have the best doctors and hospitals anywhere in the world. Can you imagine what would happen if any hospital in the USA turned away a patient because of their age? They would be under federal investigation and people would be sent to prison.

  18. We need to do more for the lower tir workers. One day they will out number us Legacy workers and will remember how we screwed them by not sticking up for them. We should have NEVER passed the contract when we agreed to allow lower paid workers. Everyone should be paid the same...not have 3 or 4 different tirs of workers.

  22. Are you nuts ? Do you have any idea how much 15 % of your health coverage would cost you? Lets say Ford pays a family of 4 around $ 2000 per month for coverage. Thats $ 300 out of your pocket per month. I dont know about your situation but that extra $ 300 for a faimly is quite a chunk of change. Thats $ 3600 per year less. That could go along way for a family's expenses. Until upper management at Fords start to take some pay cuts. ( how many BILLIONS $$$$$$$$ profit did Ford make the last few years ?) I will vote NO every time.
  23. Any contract they try to sell us with ANY KIND of health insurance deductible or payroll deduction will be an Immediate NO from me. I can under stand Co-Pays for prescriptions and some office visits but how many BILLIONS of $$$$ did the company make the last 4 years? Also we need to get rid of the TPT employees or give them a path to full time....Like a time limit...TPT for 12 months then they HAVE to make you full time? I know people that have been TPT's for over 3.5 years and they keep hearing from the union...Just hold on a little longer to see how many people retire or if buy outs are given on THIS contract THEN you MAY get hired full time. Can anyone really believe ANYTHING coming out of IUAW? I agree...it will pass 51 % to 49 % with Local 600 passing it by 90 % to make up for the other plants saying NO.
