  1. Akirby, you are right! I just called the installer, and the three months is only for repair paint. Thank you!
  2. I am intending to get 3M Paint Protective film put on my new Mustang GT's hood front, fenders and bumper cover, and would like to do it as soon as possible after getting the car. I am told by the installer that you have to wait three months after painting before the film is applied, to allow the paint to cure/outgass. That begs the question of when the car is actually painted so I can start counting the days. Does anyone have any idea, and, has anyone else put this film on their brand new car before?
  3. What's the issue with needing to make sure the tank is empty? Wouldn't the two grades mix together and simply make a mid rang octane ?
  4. About to take delivery of a 5.0 Mustang GT, and understand that premium gas is best for best performance, but that the car will run ok on regular gas, yes? Can I alternate tanks of regular versus premium, or if I run one or the other, will it hurt the engine to go back and forth? Maybe I should use the mid range octane as a compromise? Anybody know about this?
