I get ya. But like I said, had never had any interest in any social media in any kind, but became alarmed with all the no votes. Basically shocked about how short sighted our workforce was. But I'll keep the account tho and pipe In at times. I get it now how people try pushing your buttons just to start an argument. People at my home location and area are pretty much like minded, so I starting posting when I realized the Local 900 was in potential danger and just because of where I was raised, ya don't take insults, period. So it was impossible not to lash out. Shit was costing me sleep. But I hear ya man. Good looking out.......

All trolls.....now that we have a ratified contract, don't bother me anymore. Will not continue with any forums ever again. You are free to take as many cheap shots at me as possible. These forums are terrible for unions. Read your news paper's auto section instead or your locals meetings. Social media has a very dangerous dark side. The UAW failed to provide us with any contract talk info period. Until maybe a week b4 the voting began. Damn near cost us a decent contract which will be improved upon the next round. Local presidents and plant chairmen need to tell their teams to do their damn jobs and stop abusing their lax attendance regulations if any exist. Don't know. The ELECTED committee people need to handle their zones personally. Or face humping the line again and we all know u don't want that. lol. But it has to start at the top. So UAW, all we want is to know what u know. We pay hefty dues so they have no right to withhold ANY info that pertains to the actual workers in any way, shape or form. Tier2, spot on. Meetings need to be attended these days or daily rumors become our only source of info. Especially at MAP. Local 900 needs a facelift. Junior and Johnson need to start leading by example. Committee people always take the last day and then the first after any extended weekend or vacation time. At Wayne Assembly Plant we never had fill in committee reps. The last 5 year at MAP has been hell, poorly arranged and ran by rookie supervisors. Basically MAP has been their version of Spring Training.

A skilled trade guy could surely afford it, especially now. LMFAO!

But not knowing your age, your jabs at me struck my hatred of racism nerve. So I used what I deemed an appropriate response to a bigot, not someone teasing at my background. School, sports, being teammates with quite a few different ethnic groups but majority white and black kids. And now 15 years of being U.A.W. brothers and sisters. Racism ain't close to dead but slowly dying and will die without any doubt. Always cringed when I heard an adult use the "N" word and still do. Being round a group of Caucasians and there's alway a few that had racism forced into their heads from people not fit to be parents. But my nephew, 16, is exactly like me in that regard, and he grew up round the Irish Hills area with a single black kid at his school. And I never spoke a word about race related subjects. It was just a natural progression, to me his general attitude towards other races was like a step on evolution because he wasn't groomed to love all people equally. And I had no clue til one of my brothers friends blurted out a slur in his presence and my brother commented on how uncomfortable he became whenever that particular friend was around just like use to get. Character is a proper way to gauge people along with their morals. And you sir are quite the character. Lol. I mean when a name in a forum keeps using your comments as quotes and then pokes fun at your upbringing I was offended so I stood my ground which is pure instinct, couldn't be helped. And since I never knew you existed, never seen or read your name or insulted you in any manner or read any threads by you. Never been a fan of social media. But a 2nd tier buddy suggested blue oval if u wanted updated contact news, I was completely blindsided by the no voters logic. Couldn't believe any U.S. auto company would Bobert Queens legacy fade away. Dad rejected a job offer after a medical retirement, just because B. King would be a coworker, and wasn't sure if it possible too chance being an underling to that man because going from a 3 term MTP Chairman to serve a poor leader was never an option for him. Anyways, only started commenting about why the no votes only to be insulted without any real answers other than obvious greed, personal grudges against salary folks and the 8 year top pay, which is very deceptively evil. But in four years, we could make that agreement issue disappear, get LTS workers their original senority date back. MAP didn't vote yes out of fear just didn't want to jump the gun and the vast majority thought it solid knowing their are still plenty of contracts to right the wrongs. Concern didn't start til no votes became the majority day after day. And forums are terrible when it comes to lifec hanging issues no one backs down because we're all completely safe from harm, in case someone losses their temper. Union business should only be ironed out in union halls, where you could very well suffer injury if you're obnoxious by nature. But there needs to be a leader to set the tone, any comprimizes must be hashed out. 100 people cannot all be right with different solutions. We need to unionized again, in the manner it all began. In crowded halls, face to face, learn to respect our 2nd families again. Respect a coworker opinion without crucifying them because u disagree. These, actually this forum is very scary, along with fb, I hear, is pure union negativity and hate towards opposite viewpoints. Just wanted updates and got sucked right in right away. We have been behaving like children with bigger vocabularies. These forums serve individualism entirely. Think about it. Possible customers can read these posts and hate us even more. The government, especially if the elephants cheat another election win for someone from their party. Prolly Bush even tho hes struggling right now, have crazy deep connections on a global scale and U.S. policymakers. They could destroy all unions. We want a decent lifesfor our loved ones. They stop at nothing to finally stomp out our beloved middle class, our country's backbone, cause their rich CEO buddies despise unions cause its really their money. We need to stop using these forums immediately. Right to work states keep gaining ground nation wide. Lets stick to meetings and trusting our leadership who didn't get their jobs through pure luck. That comment was made while I was still at work and did not then know the guys age. Not until he made his doughnuts thread. Never insulted the guy again. But I'm 38 and bored . I'll mail u a map to my front door. I was trying to convince people one way, him the other. Plants aren't a great environment for the elderly. I know so many people who didn't last too long after retirement. I'm fairly certain these plants with all the foreign box dust and abestos is very dangerous for everyone working but MAP is old and the old Wayne Assembly Plant, which has stood empty for the last 5 years, so excuse me for wanting to lock down a product ASAP. This ain't the last freakin' contract ever and nowadays the world is so freaking crazy, the world could change overnight from a single event. 8 years to max out was wrong but it was a hell of a lot better for them since the current one passed. Thank Bobby K. for allowing the tier system to begin with. Dude was spineless. Most my friends at work are second tier. My best friend is second tier. All yes votes. Yea, actually I am. Its funny cuz yer an old windbag that probably needs to retire so"young people" can start families and have decent income. I respect the elderly so no insults, but if have yer house and family, financially stable, get on with life. You're taking food out of someone's baby's mouth, with bare health insurance.
