  1. The Ford launch website on the Mustang has numerous videos about the signature design themes and heritage elements. Have you seen that site? It’s totally a retro vehicle.
  2. Besides, my 21 year old Capri is getting old... maybe I'll replace it with a RWD Lincoln convertible based on the Mustang. The retro styling of the Stang is a real turnoff to me.
  3. Let’s hope Ford extends the Mustang platform for some Lincoln products. It just seems so obvious.
  4. I'm hoping with the launch of the new 2015 Mustang platform with the independent rear suspension and new modern engines that Ford will finally develop a couple of Lincolns using that platform. A RWD/AWD 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe and 2-door convertible would be a nice place to start. It must have truly distinct Lincoln styling from the Mustang, not a headlamp/taillight treatment. Has anyone heard any rumors of this? http://jalopnik.com/is-this-proof-the-new-lincoln-mks-going-to-be-mustang-b-510259503
  5. Today's crossovers are yesterday's wagons. Many of the CUVs on the market today use the same platform as their sedan cousin. Americans just like CUVs better. And I'm someone who loves sporty wagons like the Audi A4 Avant, Volvo wagons and BMW 3-series.
  6. A Escape ST is a great idea. Make it more sporty then the Lincoln MKC, though. It could use the same 2.3L turbo but it has to look fast and butch.
  7. There's a page on Facebook dedicated to trying to get the Ranger back in North America. Best idea I heard is to call it the "F-100" so that it ADDS to total F-series sales. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ford-bring-the-new-world-Ranger-to-the-States/176237855779573?ref=hl
  8. Check out the Facebook page for the new Ranger in North America. Post your thoughts/complaints to Ford about the new one not being built & sold here. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ford-bring-the-new-world-Ranger-to-the-States/176237855779573
  9. Please let Ford know if you want them to build and sell the new global Ranger in North America. Check out this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ford-bring-the-new-world-Ranger-to-the-States/176237855779573
  10. My company upshiftcreative.com does naming and branding. The MK-whatever is too confusing and not memorable enough to most consumers. It is also not marketed as "Mark-whatever" in any ads. I agree that Lincoln should not return to names (Town Car, Versailles, etc.). They should instead develop meaningful alphanumerics-- BMW and AUDI do this best.
  11. Heck Yeah! Ford, please bring the Euor Ford Focus Cabrio to the US as the next Capri. I own a '93 Capri and love it. 155,000 trouble-free miles and it runs like a clock.
  12. I really wish Ford would build the EcoSport in the US or import it for here. I think they would be able to sell SCADS of that vehicle. I saw one in Mexico and it looks like a smaller Explorer, ready to go anywhere.
  13. JUST BUILD IT! Sure, it's not for everyone but it is dynamic, bold and WAY better looking in its market than any Scion, Honda, Saturn, Hyundai whatever-whatcha-ma-call-its. Ford, stop trying to please everyone by building bland cars that appeal to noone. Pleasae, build dynamic bold cars that are also reliable and people will buy them.
