  1. Mine works every time as I approach, there are a few angles it doesn't do anything until I get to the door. One problem I had is my extra remote was hanging just inside the garage and it would pick it up. Once I moved it to the bedroom, everything worked again.
  2. LOL, I love the electricity for my Aviator, our power comes from Nuclear 1 up the road. I've been getting 93-133 MPGe depending on how I drive everyday going to the hospital. We have been converting an entire column (7 floors) to negative air to accommodate hundreds of positive patients. We have one today and have been up to as many as three. Thankful it hasn't bloomed into what they thought, but if it does we are very prepared. For those of us in engineering it has been lots of overtime and mind stimulating when they ask if certain things can be done.? Ask any engineer if it can be done and he'll say heck yeah, then they'll ask if you can pay for it. Thankfully they have the money to pay for what they asked for.
  3. PICS please, I'm thinking about them, just want to see them on GT trim. How are you liking yours?
  4. I ran mine down to zero miles left, cruised to the gas station (two miles) on zero and put 19.7 Gallons in my GT. I ran it down in preserve the whole time so I would not use any juice unless needed.
  5. You can use a 20amp on either as coolscoop said. If you are running a new circuit, install a 50amp circuit for future multi car or a nice electric welder?
  6. It is the relays and air suspension making adjustments, mine clicks a lot until it settles in.
  7. The dealer I ordered mine from just got in their first retail GT, they are asking 2500 over sticker because they haven't had another scheduled. They already think they sold it, someone is coming from 300 miles away to look at it. It is black on black, it looks nice, but will need some blackout to make it really cool. Mine still shows up on cars . com and they are going nuts because they get two or three calls a day, and dozens of e-lead clicks a day. They tried to order one identical, but could no longer get the Blue Diamond.
  8. Glad to hear it made it home. I did my first pure ev run today It is a lot of fun checking out all the features and discovering new ones. Finally got my charging outlet in this morning so no more trips to the Tesla station.
  9. Congrats, mine has been doing great (knock on wood) It was worth every minute of waiting. Hope you like it as much as well.
  10. The new Blue color will be close to Blue Diamond, it is called infinite blue. You can see it on the Mach E configurator.
  11. Hmmm nope, never seen or felt anything like that. Did you show the dealer the vid?
  12. Dallas is about Trucks and Off Road vehicles mostly. They had very few sedans, but an over whelming truck/SUV presence. I think Ford had every F series in every trim on hand. They usually hand out truck awards during the show also.
  13. I had a glitch with my iPhone and had to delete it and Bluetooth connections, but it works as advertised. Just tried the kick open with PAAK and it works. Everything is the same as if you had a key fob.
  14. I have a GT and it goes into all electric at stops and sometimes just cruising. Very odd watching the tach go to zero and still hustle down the road. So glad I held out to get a GT, it does have many relays clicking and every time I pass by, it thinks it is the chosen chariot. (PAAK) I'm putting miles on to get it broke in and any anomalies worked out. When I start driving my beater again, I will have to disable PAAK. I find if you set the stereo on 8, you can't hear anything but great music. ?
  15. It did not show up, I did not try it in all electric mode as I was out of juice.
  16. I've only had that one hiccup, it worked well yesterday. I would not go hundreds of miles away on an important trip, but as much as it is an inconvenience if it would go out, I'm not footing the tow bill.
  17. I wanted to thank you for the tracking info for my Aviator. It has arrived and I'm getting her broke in. Here is a Pic after they tinted the front windows.
  18. Had not noticed but will check on the way home today, its 26 degrees out and I'll wait until it is warmer to go out and check. I drove in with the seat heat on high and it is significantly warmer than my Bimmer, had to go back to medium after 10 miles because my tail was cooking. I did have a little glitch last night with my iPhone, not sure if it was my phone or the car. I have been driving with just my phone and when I was leaving work my center stack locked up and asked for my pass code like I was driving without my phone (It had just completed the welcome and let me in) The car would not start, hmmm. I put it the correct passcode and it said it was wrong. So I tried remote start on my phone and it started up and drove home fine, except for the center stack locked still looking for a pass code. After I was safely in my drive, I did some troubleshooting and my iPhone showed three Aviators connected in the Bluetooth settings. I turned off all the Bluetooth Aviators and tried the passcode, it started the car, but then showed the input passcode screen again. OK, so I did a cold boot on both, shut my phone off and the car. Turned the phone on and the car, everything is normal now. Not sure which one glitched, but Bluetooth had only one approved handshake, so the phone should not have connected to three.
  19. I see one everyday now? Really though, I've only seen a few in the wild. The dealership where I bought mine has seen a surge in Lincoln sales of late. They have one Reserve 1 left of 9 reserves that have arrived since Christmas. The manager is kind of peeved because he has more customer wants than vehicles available. He was picking up two yesterday from other dealers he sold last Saturday. He has 1 more GT on the way and another just got scheduled. The owner was giddy about how many Lincolns he was selling this year (He is a major truck/mustang guy) His Explorers have been going like hot cakes also. 80% of the sales team hit their Feb sales targets by Presidents day.
  20. Yes I did. It is still a little early for a full review, even after reading the owners manual, I'm still discovering how to work things, not so much what it can do, but how to do it. It was the first GT the dealer had seen so they were not up to speed on features and differences of a Reserve. With that said, here is a quick opinion of what I think. It is quick, smooth and luxurious. The quick will take some by surprise, I believe some bloggers/writers called it rough, jerky, unrefined. Total BS, it does lurch out when you hit the gas, it's called instant torque. I felt nothing out of the transmission that was jerky, push the pedal hard and it launches. It takes a little foot control to take off smooth, after an hour of city driving it pretty much comes naturally. I did notice after driving my Bimmer in between a few trips, it did take a second to adjust back to the GT modulation. The ride is awesome, I think it may feel bumps a little more than the non GT due to its weight, but the ride is still beyond anything I've driven lately. One thing I did for a brief ride is put it in excite mode and hit some back road twistys. I will do a lot more when the engine is broke in. Here I think the weight helped, it felt more stable than the Reserve I drove in the same area. Both were great, but I'm a not a fan of small sports cars feel of G-force in every turn. The GT is fast and just feels very planted and comfortable, my daughter in law said "it feels like I should be asking for a glass of wine instead of reaching for the oh sheet handles" as we hit 85. Speaking of speed, it reacts nicely in freeway traffic during passing situations, there is no indication of the extra weight. The electric motor takes over frequently and you can watch on the big screen what is actually going on in the power train. In my line of work, this is just plain cool. I find myself having the car up more than any other screen. My PAAK installed easily after deleting and reinstalling the Lincoln Way App. If you try to connect the PAAK and it takes longer than a minute, cancel, delete the app, re-download and install. I spent a stubborn hour trying to get it work, after doing the re-install it only took 5 minutes to set everything up. The seats are amazingly comfortable as I already new and was a big part of my decision to buy a Lincoln. I did set up two profiles for myself, the road cruise mode (put in 3) and my commute mode where I have them set up like Recaros for my sport like freeway trips (key 1). Not everything is bliss though, the PAAK thinks you are going for a ride every time you walk by with your phone, just like my dog thinking he is going to play when you open the garage door. You can disable it, but I like it getting ready when I do want to drive. Speaking of getting ready, none of the settings save unless you set up a profile, I got the seats just right, pushed the seat 1 button and thought that saved the settings, nope they don't save until you have a profile. Speaking of that, my wife and I can't agree on who is 1 so our cars so sometimes we select the wrong profile. It is easy in the Aviator, the profile setting has a name. I really don't have to say much about MPG as it spends a lot of time idling while I show off the interior. Maybe next week I'll be able to get a good feel. I did try the all electric and got 25 miles with about 25% city and the rest freeway driving. So far I'm very pleased with it, no issues minor or major, panel alignment was good. Give a week or two and I'll update this.
  21. OK, if he has a production date, he has a VIN, ask for your VIN and it can be tracked. They scheduled 2nd week of April this week, if yours is not scheduled yet it will be closer May/June. If you don't have a VIN/production date, I'd just canx and wait for the 2021's. Very minor changes but the model year will determine the value later down the line. 2021 model orders open Apr 13, scheduling begins May 14th so you are near the 2021s if your not scheduled yet. Job 1 for 2121MY is July 27.
  22. Did you get a VIN? Is the dealer waiting for an allocation for you. You may have requested your dealer order a GT on May 25th, but did they have an allocation? GT production did not get into full swing until November, they kept getting pushed back. They have been barely trickling out right now also. There is only a few dozen showing available nationally, but more populate everyday.
  23. Plenty of info out there on the ordering process. You can order all day long and if the Dealer does not get an allocation for what you want, it will never get ordered. My dealer has a backlog of 13 people wanting GTs, as he gets allocation, he calls the next person on the list to make sure they still want it. On popular hard to get allocation, be prepared for a deposit request. If it is a good dealer they will be honest and up front with your chances of getting one special ordered. When he has a confirmed allocation, he can give you a DORA. After that it may take a week or month to get a VIN, depending on what you ordered and commodity availability. Once you have a VIN then you start waiting to be scheduled. Once you have a build date it can be 5 days to 5 weeks until the dealer gets your car, or even longer. There are way too many variables.
