  1. The issue I had was this - The rims on the RV need to have a special contour on them AND a specific diameter valve stem hole, AND they are not rated for 125 psi... I ended up selling my kit online for a few hundred dollars... quote - Trailer TPMS sensors are only compatible on wheels with 0.452 in (11.48 mm) diameter valve stem hole. quote - my 17.5 wheel has a contour of HC... the factory TPMS only fits on a wheel with a "J" contour
  2. I have a 42' Fifth Wheel that weighs in at 17,000# loaded for trips... My 2020, F350 6.7 - 4X4 - long bed - 3.55 gets 11.5 - 11.9 towing when behaving and doing 65 East Coast.. When, NOT IF I get in a hurry and push the pedal, I drop to 9.5 - 10.3 .. the GOOD thing is that when I need/want the power, I just put my foot in it and away she goes ! ! ! ! I love this combo ! !
  3. Thanks for all the reply.... The dealer is replacing the coupler between the bed plug and bumper plug... If that does not work, I will have him spray electric cleaner in the plug. Ill post after all is done
  4. They did that TSB on the first visit... It cleared all the codes at the time
  5. my son in law has a 2022 F250 W/the 6.7.. He was missing left turn signals, we tracked it back to the truck as everything else worked fine when hooked to mine.... Went to the dealer and the said there were 2 faults showing... Basically the truck was not communicating with the computer... there was also TSB.... tech did everything and all was good.. 1/2 way into the next 150 mile trip he started getting warnings on dash - Tailer Lighting Module Fault - See manual...... any ideas ?? its going back to the dealer next week
  6. I had my "04" go into limp mode dragging my older 08 KZ Montego Bay... It was NOT fun...
  7. If I am going on a trip towing my RV, I fill before going.... If taking a several thousand mile trip ( PA to FL and back ) I buy a 2.5 gallon jug and toss it in before returning.... Don't need limp mode... Better safe than sorry
  8. WOW... that is 1 beautiful looking Truck ! ! ! Good Luck with it Andy !
  9. They are the REGULAR gas prices??? HOLY CRAP ! ! what are the Diesel numbers? Glad I removed Calli off my "must see" list a few years ago
  10. my Father In Law swore by the following... Take an "old newspaper" and use 1-2 pages crinkled up .. spray on the glass cleaner, spread with a handful... use another to wipe dry... after I was done laughing, I finally tried it.. IT REALLY WORKS.. must be an old school thing..?? I use nothing else anymore
  11. IF it is/was factory installed 5WP they have rubber/plastic cover that POP into the hole to prevent water from entering.. Since the 5th Wheel prep has not changed, you COULD go with these....
  12. I have still have 11 Freightliner M2's on order since early 2021 that are not in yet.. I still have 1 ordered October of 2020 that WAS due 1/4/2022 that had not arrived yet.. I just ordered 10 more for Q3 of 2023 delivery. For anyone thinking it's a Ford thing, save it for someone who wants to hear it.. These darn supply chain issues are a result of MANY issues all piled on top of each other. Heck, I crossed the Annapolis Bay Bridge the other week, there were 15 cargo ships anchored/floating stacked and racked waiting to get into the ports for unloading....Was camping this past weekend and my neighbor for the weekend was the assistant Manager of a pier .. They are trying desperately to get dock workers WHO actually want to work !. The new generation is all about IT/tech/ anything but blue collar....ALL that and toss in a factory fire/ driver shortage and near $7.00 per gallon diesel.. Can you say Cluster Fluck ! ! !
  13. IF your dealer was any good, they would honor the deal……..Go in and ask them. Bypass the sales and go direct to management
  14. We ordered 3 2022 SD's last year, never received 1 email confirming, or updating . . . Like stated, if your concerned, or do not trust the dealer, call the ford customer service number.... have the info needed handy for that call...
  15. With all the electronics in these darn new trucks, its almost inevitable there could be an issue, the question is….. WHEN ?? I’ve heard a ton about Flood Ford, my son in law, bro in law and best friends all took delivery of their 2022’s in October, got the numbers from Flood Ford, went into our dealer and after the high original quote, Our dealer matched Flood’s price..
  16. Ha ha…. Funny thread….. My 8 tracks and cassettes will be resurrected some day ! ! ! My 2020 F350 does not have a CD player…. I don't even miss it, with Pandora, ITunes, Sirius, and especially now with Apple car play, you don't even have to plug a wire into your phone to connect…
  17. I have a 2020 F350 - 6.7 - Platinum - 4x4 - Long Bed - LOADED with only 15,000 Miles on it.. I've been offered 75k for it..... I would love to sell it for that but would have to shell out a lot for a replacement.. Not to mention it is camping season and my RV needs to ROLL ! ! ! I will keep my old "20" and be extremely happy every time i drive it !
  18. That is how my deals go with my dealer... If there are any price increases, they are not pushed to me.. paperwork is painless, the Business Manager knows me and does NOT try and sell me any stuff.....
  19. We have 2 labs and bring our daughters lab with us aa lot when camping. We use the Weather Tech cover along with the ALL weather rear floor mat. not a dog smell to be found..
  20. Locks or devices like that keep honest people honest.... thieves will get a vehicle if the really need that vehicle
  21. And I thought I was in style with my 2020 SD/6.7.. It pulls my 17k fifth wheel without a grunt...... He is now looking for a larger trailer since his is only 11,000 !
  22. My brother in law HAD that exact same truck, 99 F250 Lariat - 7.3, replaced the transmission twice... he is now in his 2022 F350 - 4x4- 6.7 and just smiles..... and smiles...... and smiles....
