  1. Common sense is only right wing if you are too far to the left. UT et al are not at all repositories of common sense.
  2. If it's to go into service in the next couple of years it should have a giant dunce cap on top.
  3. What's wrong changes? Now that's a good one. And quite a telling comment. No, what's wrong doesn't change at all. What changes is the degradation of the quality of society that causes more and more to accept what's wrong.
  4. Better mpg from the basic engine, retroactive to the 2013.
  5. When I send directions to the car, I get a message there's no such phone number associated with a Sync account. I've quadruple checked the number. It is correct and matches the number showing when I log into syncmyride.com. So what's the secret to send a Mapquest to the car? Thanks.
  6. So the racist in chief followed up to Jackson, Sharpton and the other racists. What a surprise. This administration has been the worst in decades for racism.
  7. I didn't see you are in Canada. I'm not sure if you guys have your own version of Magnusson-Moss or not. Here, if you got BB to install better speakers and later had an electrical problem say a power window that quits working that would be warranty unless they could prove that BB stripped a wire or shorted a connection or similar action that caused the problem. If they can prove BB messed something up they can decline warranty. Otherwise it has to be covered.
  8. Does anyone know the weight of the SE 17" stock wheel? Or where to find it?
  9. omgomgomgomgomg.. Tweet everyone you know. Post on your Facebook. There is no such thing as "void the warranty". Magnusson-Moss. You can't do anything that will "void the warranty". That is illegal in the U.S. The only way the warranty can be "voided" is if a particular failure can be proven to have been caused directly either by changes you made to the vehicle or by service done or left undone by an unauthorized person. In those two cases then a single claim can be refused but the whole warranty can't be voided and future warranty claims can't be refused unless they again fall under those two exceptions. Your warranty still covers the radiator problem, the trunk latch problem, the transmission and all the other things no matter what you did to the radio. The warranty even still covers the radio parts that are stock unless they fail directly because of some of the new stuff added on. So, bottom line, don't ever ever ever again say "void the warranty" and remember, friends don't let friends say "void the warranty".
  10. There wouldn't be nearly enough demand but if they'd build a modern 510 sedan with the original 510 body on an up to date chassis with a semi serious drivetrain they'd have a fine vehicle. Something in the power range of the Mini S but a few thousand less expensive. Those cars were good looking in their own way and did pretty well in SCCA showroom stock too.
  11. With scientific methods available there is no longer reason to fear executing the wrong individual. Require DNA evidence confirmed by two labs to impose the death penalty. Require appeals to be completed in a timely manner, perhaps six months to at most twelve months. Limit appeals to two or perhaps three appeals at most. That would mean executions within five years or so of commission of a crime. Executions should be hanging on the courthouse square of the county where the crime was committed. That should be a fairly significant deterrent.
  12. Can we restrict speech because certain speech can be a catalyst to mentally ill? Can we restrict religious services and observation? Can we suspend the right preventing self incrimination? Can we edit and censor all news media? Or is it just the Second Amendment some of you are willing to restrict and infringe? Just think what might have been the outcome if James and Sarah Brady weren't ignorant fools, if they had spent all that money and all that support on mental health instead of against an inanimate object. Why are the PRO's (Pelosi/Reid/Obama/Feinstein et al) so hard against "assault" (sic) weapons again? Because the current regime is all about control, power and dictatorial rule and they think they have a chance to achieve it. It's all about control and nothing about Newtown or Columbine or anything else. They eagerly await the next massacre just to further their agenda. You solve crime by making the consequence too severe to risk the act, whether it's a kid dipping into the cookie jar or a felon using a weapon (weapon, not just firearm). For the former it may be no TV for a week. For the latter it should be capital punishment. That will as much as possible eliminate the crime. Adding more laws against inanimate objects to the scores of thousands already on the books and further penalizing the law abiding citizens will do nothing. That is a fool's solution.
  13. Interesting list. I wouldn't mind owning most of them.
  14. But was that Ford's discount or the dealer's discount? That would determine whether Ford made a profit on them or not wouldn't it?
